[APP][Pro] Eufy Security

Hi Martjin !

I just discovered that I can’t change the alarm on the home homebase anymore.
Actually, I can’t see the homebase in the flows.

I that normal ?

Thank you

Hi @MATHIEU_DE_BRITO ,
Changing the alarm goes per device. So in your case you select the EufyCam E in your flow list and change the guard_mode there. If it’s connected to a Homebase it will trigger the guard_mode on the HomeBase.
So it’s device specific in the flows

example: Gedeelde Flow | Homey

Hope that’s what you mean

Hi Martjin, thank you for developing this awesome Eufy App. I just updated the app and tested the quick response flow. But my Eufy 2k battery video doorbell did not announce the default quick reponses. My flow was set to trigger on doorbell press.

Hi,

Awesome! I just tried the new version and it works fine this time. It change my arm mode correctly.

I’ll get back to you in a couple of hours to see if the token issue are solved.

@lukelinsj ,
This feature is still in testing.
But as far as i know the doorbell also needs motion otherwise it doesn’t trigger

Hi All,

Is it possible to stream the video to the nest HUB by a flow already? did not found the answer in this topic yet.

Ty

Hi @Jesse_dg ,
It’s not possible to stream to the Nest Hub. Eufy uses RTSP/RMTP and this is not supported by Homey/Google Home. Only way to do this is convert the stream somewhere and send that converted url to your google home. I already tried to include this streaming convert in the App but Homey doesn’t have FFMPEG. So no succes for now :frowning:

I see. Here’s how I have setup the recent flow if it would help you better test the feature during your debugging phase.

Hi @martijnpoppen !

Thank you for your quick answer
It’s interesting, in the Eufy app, the alarm is settable only for the homebase and not per device (I can’t change the alarm per device).
So you mean that Eufy just displayed shortcut to change the alarm for all devices, and that the API allow to set the alarm per device ? (if that’s the case, it changes the way I was thinking the flows in a good direction  )

Thanks again

@MATHIEU_DE_BRITO ,
For setting the guard_mode it goes per Hub. So Homebase or standalone camera’s like the Pan&Tilt.
I put that setting on the device so people don’t have to add the homebase to their list.

So example: if you have 3 eufyCam E. And set the guard_mode to Disarmed on 1 EufyCam. The Homebase will update the guard_mode. So it will always set it’s hub to armed/disarmed.

So Eufy displays it correctly, but inside Homey it shows per device. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll probably put a new version in test today. @2Be @MrBlue and @Rens_Hoekema are also testing this feature.
If you want to read more about it. We talked about it 6 days ago: Eufy - #224 by martijnpoppen

@martijnpoppen Is it possible to get a battery status indication of the battery powered cams ?

@Rens_Hoekema Yeah i think so. There’s a battery status in the device list. Will add it to the To-Do list as a Feature Request

Thanks!

Just got the 1.8.18 update and tried to trigger the quick response by standing in front of my doorbell to trigger the motion and pressing at the same time.

But alas, it didn’t trigger the response :frowning:

@lukelinsj Does it work from the official Eufy app?
As the Eufy-Homey app is completely based on the settings you have in the official Eufy app

It works from the official eufy app when I answer the doorbell and send the default response via the “video call”

@lukelinsj Do you have Motion and Doorbell press ?
I don’t own the doorbell so trying to figure out how it exactly works
