Q2 : tried it that way ;), and on couple of devices…

Weird is that I get the latest images (snapshots) from the cams in Homey but any other comm (Homey app to Eufy) is not working anymore.
When I try to repair, I very briefly get a 1 sec view on the login screen to return to the repair screen after that. In neither navigation menu the login screen is available anymore…

@Steven_Petein ah i see i didn’t push the version where it always shows the login in the repair.

Now it just continues when the login is correct.

I’ll update that.

Can you send me a report?
As the communication to Eufy is not API dependent

@Steven_Petein the app cant connect to the camera locally.
Did you change anything in your network?

As the previous and new app version are not working for you.

So no guest network, limitations or vlan?

No changes around that period… Only yesterday I added an additional ethernet backbone point but that should not have any influence… (and also later than issues started occuring).
No deliberate changes from my end at least and no other things giving issues here (WIFI).

Do you have HomeyScript installed?

If so you can try the following:

Put this in a new file and press test. It will show you if it can connect to the IP or not

Best to do this via the Homey webapp (https://my.homey.app)

Yes,

  • device share, not home share
  • admin, not viewer
  • 2FA off
  • selected NL as country
  • login to eufy website works
  • app login to eufy works (eufylife login succeeds in app settings) on old app but I am now on experimental app v3.2.3
  • same account works on my eufy security app
  • yes I have accepted the device share
  • I logged out of the eufy security app with this account to avoid issues with concurrent usage just in case
  • used EU and US regions
  • static IP assigned

Very weird. I tried again today morning. Only after restarting my Homey app (kill + start) it worked. Seems like some cached data issue perhaps?

So far I’m very happy!

Yes, thanks! Have my flows relinked from Netatmo doorbell to Eufy doorbell now. I need a few visitors to see how it holds up :wink:
And if someone knows how to get a Homebase 3 S380 in NL, I would like their advice. Currently I can only see backorders, and for US only.

Yes i have the same thing. Really want a Homebase 3 to integrate it :stuck_out_tongue:

Update since this morning.
So running Amplify HD Router. Disabled 5Ghz on my mesh points and pulled the Homebase plug as well. That dd not change much…

Think that what did the trick was to remove the static lease (thanks @martijnpoppen to give me the hint my cams were not on same network anymore). After removing the static lease and getting new IP + repair the app it worked again for now.
Will keep the non static lease for now, might fiddle again with the mesh points 5Ghz but think this was not the issue.

Also good to mention that since the new app update the cameras can have a dynamic ip :slight_smile:

Hey all,

I have a really big update ready for you :slight_smile:

  • Decided to update the app to a new Library which will give us a lot of new features (soon).
  • Next to that I updated the app to SDK 3, to prepare for Homey Pro 2023 (and Homey Cloud… someday perhaps? :/)
  • Also added some new features which were missing in the old versions
  • Finally: The app is completely rewritten and had a lot of changes. But with this change it’s a lot easier to integrate new features and devices (smart locks, homebase 3, eufycam 3 etc )

Hi martijn, just received an update for the eufy app en sinds than all my homebase are offline en I can not fix it. I restarted te App the a login with password en login. But this dos not work. I can restart Homey but I am not ath home. I do not want to restart ath the moment. Can you advice.

Does the Homebase contain a message?

When you go to the device it should give a message why it’s not available


Please note that the new library is more reliant on the Eufy account where the previous was not.
This will give more updates to your device and makes all the data more reactive. But might give issues if your account data is not correct

Found one thing @martijnpoppen

Some values under “Advanced settings > Alarm Disarmed” are gone.

I think it was in version 2.35.3, you added e.g. " “away / custom 1” to me :slight_smile:
