@Edgar strange because the logs are empty again…
Only since the last update right?

@Edgar new update with several fixes, which I think might have broken your app instance

Oke, i’ll try then again

i run now 3.2.3 and for now, it’s oke. but it is only 10min later
coz, before i installed this one, i saw that the devices were gone again, with the live version… so… let’s hope u fixed it yesterday!

@Edgar so you say you have the same issue with the live version?

have or had… i don’t know. But to be honest… i saw late last night also that iCalender was crashed. However, that happened earlier, so that could be coincidence…

ATM it is sill working.

My Homey is also very instable. I cannot connect regularly, it is very very busy somehow… in an other topic we were allready looking for the issue but still not found. And athom wont help. I cant wait for the new one…

@Edgar Yeah I just wanted to check with you if you can check the memory load of the APP?
Maybe its too much for your Homey…

Hmm no real spikes, except that 1 CPU spike.
Also 25MB is quite nice considering the new library is a bit heavier than the old one.

My guess is that your Homey is sometimes running out of memory and then closing the apps.

Because the logs are empty and theres no crash icon on the app. So seems like a memory issue

indeed… but the app has an pause icon when it doesn’t work anymore.
But in the case of just these 2 days with your app, only the devices were lost and had a red !

well… i at least hope dat de iCalendar keeps working, coz that one is the base of my alarm clock
And now i wait for the 2023 homey… i bet that all my trouble with this old brick are over then… at least, i hope.

I hope so too :crossed_fingers:

If you experience more issues please let me know. At least I fixed some errors which I saw, so might be a combination of memory and errors

Looking for people with a Homebase 3!

Looking for people who are willing to share their Homebase 3 with me to integrate it into the app.

Might be trough sharing with me, or share your credentials with me.
Ofcourse I’ll only check API responses and won’t check your camera feeds.

If you’re willing to help please send me a DM

Hi Martijn, I am considering buying a HB3 but obviously only if I get the wired doorbell working.
But even though I created a separate account (admin), even though I have 2FA disabled, even though I have logged all android devices out of this separate account, even though the app insists I am logged into EufyLife, it keeps insisting that there are no devices and I need to select a different region.
I have tested many times but nothing seems to be working.
Best,
Roger
PS: switched to beta app now - same result: No new devices found regardless of EU/US setting
PS2: realise now that HB3 S380 cannot be ordered separately in EU, only in US

@rogerst did you share the devices with your extra account? So no house sharing, but device sharing

And ofcourse accept them in that account

Hi everyone,

went through the topic to find simular cases but a quick scan did not have a result on my issue.
At first I thought IP’s were not identical (would make sense), but that’s not the case, they are matching.

Short summary

  • Any control from Homey to Eufy native app stopped working 2 weeks ago (turn camera on/off - switch modes - …) so no communication anymore
  • Updated Homey Martijn app and Eufy to latest versions (both are on auto)
  • Rebooted Homebase couple of times - static lease IP still working (Ubiquiti router)
  • Restarted Martijn’s app and in different orders
  • Tried to repair within Homey as well (something on that below)
  • Standard Homey reboot on weekly basis
  • Native Eufy app still working as before

Weird is that when doing the repair the first time… My screen to login in Homey to with EU credentials is not showing anymore ??
Important to know is that the login credentials only disappeared AFTER doing the repair
Before doing a full delete and reinstall I want to make sure that no other solutions are possible…
But still hoping there is one

@steven_petein

  • is the official Eufy app working? Or did i misunderstand
  • to repair the device in Homey: read the instructions on the settings page :stuck_out_tongue:

It says that the repair Option has moved to the device. So in the device settings theres a maintenance button
