It might be that Eufy changed something in the streaming url. :confused:

I now have a new wifi router with the same ssid credentials. However i am now experiencing the same problem as before, i get a timed out 30000 ms error. I cannot control the eufy homebase with homey, i tried al your suggestions but none work. I am a bit doubtful that i have tried the correct ip adress: i used the ip adres that i see in the eufy app, is this the local ip adress?

Things i tried:

  • resetting the wifi on both devices
  • re-adding the eufy homebase 2 in the homey app
  • changing the ip adress of the eufy in the homey app
  • resetting the eufy data in the homey app (but don’t know if that was succesfull, selecter ‘yes’ but didn’t happen much)
  • both devices are on the same wifi

Yeah the only thing what you can check if the IP address of the Homebase is set correctly.

If you have the possibilitiy to check it in your router would be the best.

What you can try too:

  • restart the eufy app. On startup it tries to find all the eufy devices locally.

Thanks for your quick reply. I made a new 2.4ghz ssid and that seemed to do the trick.

Something wrong? Can’t get the stream on tv…

Only use the tag of the steam URL, so without the url you put in behind manually, but also read the 5 posts or so above here, that eufy might have changed something making it not work.

Then it shows the inlog webpage. But can’t login.

Theres no login screen
Are you sure you used the correct tag?

Yes i think so. I use Doorbell stream url.

Hi,

Trying to add Eufy doorbell 2k to my Homey but the cam won’t show up in when I try to add it.

Just red the FAQ Q7 and A1. There it says something about “extra account”
What is this and how can I add my doorbell to Homey?

Hey @ducken

The idea is that you invite a guest (extra email account) to your cameras. As the API will sometimes lock you out. Then at least your main account is still working with Eufy.

When you made the extra account you can share the devices with that account and you should be able to see them in the Eufy app. Ofcourse you can also use your main account, but it’s at your own risk :slight_smile:

Can you try to add the device again and after that send me a diagnostic report?
You can do that via the mobile Homey app:

More - apps - Eufy Security → settings wheel right top - send diagnostic report

Checked the report. Your account says it’s unauthorized.

You can try to fix your login by following these steps:

  • Go to devices
  • Click Add new device
  • Select Eufy
  • Pick any camera
  • A login window will show up
  • Enter your credentials
  • This will update the login for Eufy. The login is generic for every camera

I have created a guest account, lets call it 2 and my original is 1.

In the Eufy app logged in as 1 I have invited 2.
Logged in as 2 I can see the device.
In Eufy I log on as 1 again.

In Homey in the Eufy app I’m logged in as 2.
When I try to add my doorbell Homey doesen’t find any device to add.

When I go to create diagnostic report the box there is empty. How do I create the report and how do I send it?
