Hi @martijnpoppen - I really want to use the custom arm modes in your Eufy app, but unfortunately, I can’t get it to work. I guess I don’t understand how to use it.
I have created a new arm mode called “Partial Arm” in the Eufy app.
In the list in your app, when creating a new flow, I can only select “Custom 1”, “Custom 2” and “Custom 3”.
I have tried to rename the arm mode in the Eufy app from “Partial Arm” to “Custom 1”, but had no effect.
I had a thought this morning and wondered if anyone had tried this.
I just got a keypad to switch modes, but that basically allows switching from Home / Away
The thought occurred to me that if I or my wife go out without turning it on (forgetting) then the geofence mode is not picking things up…
So I wondered if anyone had set something up to change mode to Geofence when arm mode changed to home so that if you forget you have a backup?
In my head this should work fine, but at the moment we’re not really leaving the house very much for me to test… anyone tried this?
Hi, I don’t know if this is a bug or standard behavior. I didn’t find a post that addressed this, so I apologize for any unnecessary spam. I have a Eufy battery doorbell 1080p (slim). If I set flow when doorbell pressed → send notification @image to user xy. In this possibly the user will not get the requested photo. But if I add a delay of 15sec (no less), the image is shown to the user. Is there any way to solve this? A 15 second delay is quite a long time after the bell. Thanks!
Hi @martijnpoppen , not asking for ETA rather then if it will be ever possible to trigger the alarms or not for EufyCam 2 Pro ? Because you stated several times here that you doubt it’s working for Eufy 2C Pro, probably it will be the same also for EufyCam 2 Pro , right.
Problem solved. I didn’t have motion detection enabled on the doorbell and I thought that just pressing the doorbell was enough. If motion detection is enabled, it sends the picture right away. Too bad it doesn’t work without it, the battery would last longer.
