[APP][Pro] Eufy Clean

Dear Martijin,

I wanted to add an Eufy E28 device to Homey, but after entering my Eufy account details, the following message appeared: “Searching for devices… (This may take a few minutes)”, and nothing happened; the process did not continue. What can I do to successfully add the device?

I hope I’m posting this in the right place :thinking:

Thank you, although I don’t understand how that’s possible. I log in with the same account as on the iPhone app, and everything works fine there.I’m at a loss as to how to solve this…

@Gabeon make sure to remove any special characters in your password. As far as I know only @ works in the password field if you want to make a external connection

@Csaba_Nagy yes I am but not received the sample yet from my contact person so can’t work on it yet

Have you by any chance seen an opportunity to look into this yet?

@Stijn_Beelen yes and couldn’t find the reason why. So no idea how to fix it. So for now it is what it is

And @ rowancalderin Wondering if the problem with the G50 Hybrid is solved. Mine gives the same problem: Invalid enum capability (homey:app:com.eufylife.home:action_clean_speed) value: 158. Expected: off,quiet,standard,turbo,max

@Marc_Visser no this device uses a complete different api as far as I could tell
It seems matter capable though so that might be a possibility

Not sure if that works
But there’s not really a fix for the G50

Lately I’m having a lot of issues with my Robot Vacuums.
I get this error:
“Dit apparaat is nu niet beschikbaar”.

It seems like the only way to solve it is to reinstall the app and relogin.
Is it possible to re-login without having to delete and reinstall the app?

and secondly:

I get that Eufy Clean and Eufy Security are currently 2 apps.
But at least on Android they are merging slowly towards one Eufy app.
Is that something you plan to do as well? Just curious.

I’m planning that yes, but due to memory limitations not sure if it’s possible both Clean and Security are high on memory in Homey
Also they are 2 completely different API’s even in the official eufy app. They just made a wrapper around all the apps

Currently I can’t get any robot vacuums to show up when I try to log in.
I updated my Eufy password about a week ago.
So now I can log in but no vacuums show up. What could cause this?

And please correct me if I’m wrong, but if someone changes their password the only way to get everything up and running again is to delete and re-install the app?
