[APP][Pro][DEPRECATED] We Connect / myAudi / MyŠKODA / My SEAT / My Cupra

Yesterday I installed the skoda app on Homey, but I keep getting an error when I try to add my car to Homey. Logging out and in the Skoda app on my phone doesn’t prompt me for new terms and conditions.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? I just sent diagnostic report 6c0112b1-055d-4de5-a193-de0dd0b78273

@Erwins looks like Skoda needs other permissions than VW.

Can you try this url? Škoda ID and login there

If I login there, I don’t see anything strange. It doesn’t ask me for permissions or to accept terms and conditions for example.

It seems like entering my day of birth helped (a little). Now the error doesn’t show anymore, however, now I get the message ‘no new devices found’

I am also having problem adding my car. Skoda Enyaq i have sent you a diagnostic report 68656474-7469-4df4-bd42-fbb830d25800

All help is appreciated. I have also tried logging in to the above link and can’t see anything strange?

@Henrik_Eldholm Skoda is behaving differently with the login that VW. There’s currently no fix for this

did you already try to logout and login on the app of the car on your phone?

Please enable debug in the device settings. Next time it get stuck send a new report. Right now there’s no error in the log

I’m considering to pull the support for these apps and also take them out of the Homey App Store

Every month these apps are breaking and there’s no official API neither do I have the ability to fix the issues which are there.

There’s a slight chance that Homey can have a partnership with Cariad (The vendor who’s maintaining the VAG Api’s). But if not I will take these apps down

These apps consume a lot of my time and there’s nothing in it for me to support these anymore > as long as there’s no official API available

A definitive decision about this will be made after CES in January.

That’s a very very disturbing news and it would be such a pity to loose all those apps from the store. I hope since @Doekse Abe is doing such a great job, he will also help with Cariad eventually if that would be the case … :crossed_fingers: :crossed_fingers: :crossed_fingers:

You will make the decision in januari or?

@Sibren_ter_Hove Yes Athom will hopefully connect with Cariad on CES. Then we know if there might be a partnership yes or no.

Otherwise i have to create 5 new apps from scratch and I’m not planning to do so. So if there won’t be a partner ship then these apps will go offline :confused:

Unless there’s somebody else ofcourse who wants to take-over
