[APP][Pro&Cloud] Shelly

Hi All,

Before I’m just chasing a non issue: I’ve installed and configured the Shelly Wall Display and added it to my Homey PRO 2016. The inclusion is working and it is added as a thermostat. However it seems I only get one way traffic meaning if I update the thermostat on the device itself it is updated but if I try to change the thermostat (target temp or On/off) from homey it is not updated on the shelly wall display itself and reverting back to the settings received from the Shelly Wall display itself in a couple of seconds.
Anything I missed here to enable setting the temp from homey on the wall display?
Tried this manually and through flows but no avail.

I have the same thermostat issue. On/Off seems to work but can not set the target temperature from Honey (the Shelly app works).

I saw under the advanced settings is homey there is a username password (which is empty) did I miss something there - need to config somewhere?
(For the thermostat?)

Can som somewone help me whit this? I have just Install de shelly wave schutter. After strugeling managed to Connect it. But now after calibration. The position is complete wrong. I thinq its because of de schutter blind. When the are already closed the motor keeps moving for a bit en then stops. Of I open them voor 50% the are just 1/3 open. Is there a way to adjust this öre manually set the percentage?

I ended up creating a workaround via Home Assistant (I’m running both at home for these kind of things)

  • Configured in Home Assistant as a Thermostat
  • Included the thermostat through the home assistant community app in Homey
    It’s now possible to control the Thermostat through the GUI and flows.

I’m pretty sure the shelly homey app will be updated one day to correct this but for now I can include it in my smart home in Homey with this workaround.

Since 3.34.0 all Shelly Motion 2 do not reset the alarm anymore. They are permanently on motion alarm.

Hi,
I have just migrated from Homey Pro 2019 to Homey Pro 2023. Some devices had to be repaired to get working and some lights needed to be re-added, in all everything worked great.
Except for my Shelly temperature H&T (wired, not battery). They worked great for a year but now they are not connecting. In Shelly app they still working off course and have the same IP.

I have tried to re-add, changed IP and rebooted both from Shelly app and by power reset. Nothing. I don’t want to loose my history data and therefore rather not remove and add it again.

Any ideas?

Suggest you report this to the developers, via the contact e-mail address linked in the first post, as they are not actively monitoring this topic:

Since 3.34.0
I have a similar problem. All Motion 2 work fine in the Shelly app. Homey no longer recognises motion and no longer updates temperatures. They are practically dead in Homey.

How can i make a flow in homey using long press on the Shelly wave 1 pro? This event is not in homey flows

It’s a switch module, not a wall remote?
I can’t discover longpress functionality

The Wave Pro 1 indeed has more possibilities.

You’d request for those additional functions with the app maintainer:

And/or try to find out the appropriate z-wave RAW commands for the additional switching functionality.

I would like to create an energy meter för my water-heatpump with a Shelly Plus UNI. I have the flow pulses in on input 2 and also the low and the high temperatures. I can see all the values In my Homey PRO (early 2023). My calculation will be (high temperature - low temperature) * Flow frequense * Constant. Buy I don’t know where and how to do it in Homey. Can anyone please guide me? Regards Peter

Same issue here. Factory reset Shelly Motion 2 and upgraded to latest FW.
Seems to be working fine in shelly app, but will not update or reinstall in Homey.
I have a Shelly H&T and 1PM that are still working in both Shelly app and on Homey.

I reported it to the new maintainer, they are aware of it. The old version still works (commit 42c958c027d2e5de7d762813336b8cc16f3d0ad0).

There is no obvious reason visible, why this is broken now. You have to be patient as this needs some deeper investigation.

If you are able to deploy apps yourself - pull the repro and commit above. You have to go through a cycle of alarm, alarm off - then it works again.

As a lot of users have reported the issue with the Motion 2 and probably not everyone contacted us by email, a quick update from us here.

The Motion Sensor 2 is working again with version 3.34.2 of the Shelly app! :tada: The requirement for the cycle should also no longer be necessary: it now directly updates the device status when the first update comes in.

Thank you for your report. This issue was already under investigation and we have resolved it with version 3.34.2 of the app, which has been made available just now. You should only need to update and it will start working again afterwards. Note that it might take a couple of minutes after the update has been installed before the first status update is displayed in your Homey app.
