[APP][Pro&Cloud] Shelly

Hi @Patrick_85 and @Phuturist,

I have Roller Shutters, and don’t see any option on Homey to do calibration:

But if you are speaking about this zone:

My roller shutters work, when I move the bar for the different percentages.

It would be perfect to have that info as status indicator.

You have to do the calibration through the Shelly app or the web interface of the device.

The day before yesterday I successfully and flawlessly installed and paired a Shelly Plus 2PM. I use it to control a roller shutter. Today I tried exactly the same with two other Shelly’s of the same kind but both failed on pairing with Homey Pro 2023 again and again, with Homey giving these two messages:

All three have the newest firmware. None of them are added to the offical app or to Shelly cloud. All three are added to my wifi network via the access point mode. I managed to pair only the first one to my Homey, was this accidentely and should I follow the pairing instructions strictly? So using the smartphone app etc.? Or is there another cause?

Best regards,
Marc

yes that option i mean. i had it in apple home and there i had a % open and close.
That option i much better and easer to control.
i used other software then the shelly, but that one dint work on homey.

This one dont work with my 2.5.

This one does.

@Boris_Fers There i just found the calibration in the app (settings, position control), i only get a error when i use it (something went wrong).
calibration Shelly 2 / 2.5 - Roller shutter - mode - Official Shelly Technical Support Forum (DACH) (shelly-support.eu)

To bad it just don’t work properly in homey, i was wondering why because in apple home it works fine.

Try restarting your device and then re-calibrate. Also check if you already have set values inide settings under the open/close working time.

Just did the reboot en re-calibration and the setting is working now.
What a sharm
now i need to figure out it the flow is working with a %. Thanks for the help.

Hey  always get the following error message when I want to connect my plus2pm with my new Homey Pro:

Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘name’)

Any idea what it could be? Shellys are displayed when i wanted to connect them. My “old” 2.5 connected easily.

Thanks in advance!

Hello!

I purchased a Shelly Wave 2PM, to one of its outputs I connected a bathroom fan and to the other a LED strip adapter. My problem is that whichever output I switch on, the relay turns off at random intervals (10-30 minutes). The load is not more than 30-40W. How can I debug why it turns off? Is there a way to do this in Homey?

Thank you for your help!

Could either one of you post the output of http://yourshellyip/shelly, /rpc/Shelly.GetStatus and /Shelly.GetConfig here (please use a code block).

Hi Jelger,

Hope I’m doing this right…

Thanx, it’s a bug which I’ll fix with the next release.

Havent heard this before. Not sure if it’s related but did you manually flip the group association parameter as described in the known issues in the first post. There is a bug in Homey which requires a manual step after pairing a multichannel Wave device.

Great! Just curious: what is the bug and how did you find it? (As far is it comes to coding I’m completely ignorant…)

Just by looking at the error and comparing it with the code. I found out I made a copy-paste error when adding support for the Wall Display in thermostat mode which causes an issue with Plus/Pro roller shutters.

For everyone waiting for a fix. I just published a new release which is pending approval by Athom. This will probably be after x-mas. You can use the test version if really needed.

Thank you.

Hi @Phuturist,

Tested now, and I confirm that Shelly I4 is now working in all 4 events for each button, using standard or advanced flow.

Thank you a lot.
