Hi, I am new to homy environment, I purchase Homy pro and some shelly products. I add Shelly button 1 (https://www.shelly.com/en-se/products/product-overview/shelly-button-1-white) to one off my zones and now can’t understand how it works :d I suspected that something is wrong here. When I open Shelly app I can see button activation when I am pressing it but when I look inside homy environment I can’t see triggering button.
When I tray to make new flow assign zone and want to add button homy give me only 3 options ( battery becomes grater than %, battery becomes less than % and the battery level changed).
As I understand homy do not see button activation and only shows battery level.
Maybe there something I need to do to see button activation? Can someone help with this issue? Thanks.
I noticed some capability options for naming these sub capabilities are missing for the Shelly Plus 2PM. I’ll add them with the next release. You will have to re-pair your device after the upgrade to see the changes though.
Hello,
I added the Plus 0-10V Dimmer in Homey.
The dim function is working but the on and off switch is not working.
When i press the on and off button in homey nothing change with the shelly.
This is what the debug in shelly says:
The response what the shelly gets is: shos_rpc_inst.c:207 No handler for Switch.Set
It is indeed the case that the BLE button is not recognised. I have followed all the instructions in post 1, but I am not offered a way for Homey to respond to the button press.
After adding a blu device then you must open advanced settings of a Plus/Pro device.
If you want more Plus/Pro devices added go to step 4, 5…
Or do you mean step 5, 6?
Or did I understand this wrong?
I guess for some people returning the button is indeed easier than just reading and following instructions. What more do you expect from me other than pointing you to the specific part of the instructions you claim to have read but apparently have failed to follow. Do you want me to copy and paste it here, ok, here goes:
Using the generic action event trigger card
A lot of Shelly devices are capable of notifying Homey when a specific user interaction has taken place like a short- or longpress of a switch. If you have paired a supported device and you want to use this functionality you can find the “Action Event” trigger card under the app flow cards and not under any specific Shelly device (so search for Shelly when adding the card in the flow).
When you add the card to a flow you can select which device and what action should trigger your flow. Remember that press events are only registered when an Input is configured as a button under the Input settings of the device. When configured as a Switch it can only detect on/off.
Meter V6 was implemented by Athom in Homey Pro 2019 firmware 10.0.4. So I re-ordered a Shelly Wave 1PM. I successfully added the switch to my Homey and power consumption shows values now, except that they’re way off. I’m still using my test setup with a light bulb as pictured in the photo I posted. With a 6W bulb, the Shelly measures 11W. With a 4W bulb it measures 7W and with a 17.5W bulb the measurement is 30W.
Nope. The app just reads the value from the device using the node-homey-zwavedriver and now also using Homey core code for meter class v6. So either the device is sending incorrect values or measurements are getting screwed up in Homey code. Or your bulbs are using more than you think, did you use another device to measure the usage?
I’ll also ask Allterco Robotics if they have any clue.
I’ve measured the bulbs with another meter which proved the energy consumption is the same as the specification. I.e. the measurements with the Shelly are off.
I learned from the Shelly support group on Facebook that the issue is due to a bug in the current firmware of the Wave device. A firmware update fixes the issue. But do I understand correctly that it’s impossible to do a firmware update with Homey? I.e. this is indicated in my situation?
Hi,
I have 2 Shelly 1PM Z-Wave devices. However, i’m not able to have them connected in a consistent way.
Sometimes they are connected then they loose connection. In my homey timeline, I’m also getting often the notification that one of them is sending a lot of messages to homey and that he’s overloading my Z-Wave network.
Not a clear problem description I guess but I hope someone can help…
