There is just one motor. Opening and closing the slats is the same thing as lowering or raising the slats. Slats can be horizontal, rotate right or rotate left. The mechanics of the cords make the slats go up rotated right, and go down rotated left. So when you want the slats to be horizontal, you make them go down, stop and raise a little bit. Or make them go up, stop and lower a little bit. Because if you go from lowering to raising, the slats will first turn 180 degrees before they are going up and vice versa. In the Somphy app, the tilt button raises or lowers the slats a very small time. So I have to give the tilt command 4 times to set the slats horizontal. Or give the Up and Stop command very fast after each other.
I would make a movie of my slats to show, however the cords are broken.
So appearantly this parameter is not taken into account. As the tilt time is too long, the slats will tilt and raise or tilt and lower.
Maybe there is a misinterpretation between 1.5 and 1,5
I donât think Homeys SDK allows me to make the tilt capability take the tilt time parameter into account. I would probably have to create some manual parser but that is beyond my knowledge of zwave devices.
I can add a tilt up and tilt down button capability though, similar as to what you describe in the Somfy app. Iâll look into that when I get back from holidays.
This would definitely be worth a try.
Somehow the value is taken into account. When I move the slider of the slat position up, the external venetian blind moves to the set percentage value and then turns the slats exactly 180°. If I do this with the position slider, it only moves to position and does not turn the slats.
That would also be worth a try.
Then it is working different from my Luxaflex with Somphy RTS.
Did you have to set a time for 100% up and down? In order to know how long the motor should run to get at 60%
I could set this time manually. But I use the function of automatic calibration. The Shelly moves the external venetian blind once all the way up, then all the way down, then all the way up again and finally to 50%. It recognizes the end points by the power consumption of the motor. This is possible thanks to electronic limit switches.
That is smartđ
@Phuturist Thank you for adding the Shelly 0-10V Dimmer
Can you please consider changing itâs class from light to socket as per https://apps.developer.homey.app/the-basics/devices/best-practices/lights:
For (flush) modules, such as the Qubino Flush Dimmer, a tradeoff has to be made. If there are use cases for the device other than controlling a light source the required device class should be
socket. The Qubino Flush Dimmer 0 - 10V has various use cases other than controlling light sources, for example bathroom ventilation control. When in doubt, usesocketsince this allows users to configure the device aslight(or something else) after pairing.
I plan to use the Shelly 0-10V dimmer to control the speed of this EC fan and I need it to be set as Always On and not accidentially mix it with house light controls.
Will do
Hi there!
I got a Shelly I4. First I configured it as switch but then button. But when configured as button It doesnt appear in flows? And also there are no input when open it up in the homey app.
Cant it be run as button device? Since double press and so on only seems to work when using button and not switch mode?
Read the first post of this topic.
Hi! I actually installed Shelly PRO 3EM, but after adding to homey that was not recognized as smart meter, my energy panel have totaly wrong datas. Can I configure Shelly Pro 3EM as main smart mater?
This question keeps popping up but I have no answer to it, read this:
According to Athom this is the correct way to implement it considering the fact the Pro 3EM is the actual smart meter and there are no other smart meters or solar panels contributing to the totals (as that would mess up the reading where certain values would be counted twice). Other than that I have no clue how the Pro 3EM effects the energy tab with itâs 3 phases being set as cumulative.
If you find out how to properly configure this Iâm all ears.
Hi,
I keep on struggeling to get my 2 Shelly BLU-Buttons working.
I have 3 floors in my house and on every floor I have a Shelly Plus device with Bluetooth gateway enabled.
I run the latest firmware on all Shelly devices and have Beacon mode enabled on the buttons.
I have added the BLU buttons to my HP23 and started the BLE proxy on all 3 Shelly Plus devices. In the Shelly app I see that the script was loaded and active on the Shelly Plus devices.
I have made a simple flow to switch a Hue lamp when pressing a single time on the button. If I am in my office, almost next to my HP23, it works fine.
If I do the same on another floor, it fails. Also Homey does not detect the button anymore.
I am under the impression that the button only talks directly to HP23 on Bluetooth (which does not work very well) and not (what I would expect) through the Shelly Bluetooth mesh.
Am I doing something wrong or forgetting someting?
Your help will be very much appreciated!
Have you tried turning the power clamps around?
Have you checked that outbound websocket is also configured correctly on the bluetooth proxy devices?
Thx for reply, I think the problem is in device class, in my homey I see the 3EM PRO as class = socket.
If i look the driver of " HTTP Energy Meter" (HTTP Energy Meter App for Homey | Homey) â de.grewenig.httpenergymeter/drivers/energy-meter/driver.compose.json at main ¡ ChristianGr1974/de.grewenig.httpenergymeter ¡ GitHub their is class other.
Can we try this?
Measured datas are ok, only in energy panel that do mystakes - homey SUM datas with other device datas. And itâ s not correct.
You can change the device class yourself from the device advanced settings (but only when itâs originally configured as socket). Let me know if changing it improves the behaviour.
Could you try release 3.22.4 which is currently in the test channel. It requires you to re-pair the device when configured in venetian blinds operating mode. It appears this is needed to register both windowcoverings_set as windowcoverings_tilt_set as they both use the same command class. Please let me know.
