[APP][Pro&Cloud] Shelly

tried both. Just a white screen and “Not found”

Right, it’s probably a Plus/Pro device. Try /rpc/Shelly.GetStatus and /rpc/Shelly.GetConfig.

Hi all, I recently noticed that I am unable to turn off/on most of my shelly 4pm channels via my Homey Pro. Curiously, every first channel of each 4pm device can be turned on/off via homey as usual, channels 2-4 of each 4pm device cannot. *The ‘always on’ option in Homey is of course disabled. **All 4pm devices are updated to the latest firmware.
Does any of you experience the same issue or know a solution?
Thanks!

Nothing changed in the basic functionality since the initial implementation. Is this from the device in Homey itself or using a flow card? And did you check the device settings of each channel in Homey (like IP address). And have you tried re-pairing a Pro 4PM to see if that resolves the issue?

This is indeed from the device in Homey itself, via flows it is not working either. In that way it is consistent. The device settings of each channel is the same, there are no differences between the first and the rest of the channels on each device. All four of my 4pm units have the same issue, so I doubt it is related to some specific settings. I have not yet tried re-pairing as I was wondering if it was a known issue. I’ll try re-pairing and post the results here.

Check what the last time was the value was updated in Homey. If it wasnt recent, follow the troubleshooting guide from the first post.

Possible hint, the device is now reporting it’s status to IP address 192.168.2.153. If this isnt the IP address of your Homey anymore you need to update the device config.

Last update is about 2 hours ago. Correct, the Homey IP is 192.168.2.153.

Do you have more Shelly devices. Perhaps they changed IP address and you are seeying the value from another device. Check the IP address under the device settings.

All my app does is take the value from /status under switch:0.aenergy.total and divide it by zero. In your case this is 214857.203 / 100. If the value did recently update it’s not the data from the same device you showed in your screenshot.

Yes, i have more Shelly devices. I have checked the IP adresses and they seems correct. Strange…

Do you meen that if i have several devices, the app shows a average totalconsumption? Then it schould be the same average on all my devices and that is not. The thing is that it shows correct value of the actual consumption, but crazy value on total.
Summary i get at strange total value on all my shelly devices in Homey, that not is the same as in the Shelly app.
Every device has its own IP and shows correct actual consumption and it is equal in Homey an Shelly, but again, the total consuption is different on every device and not the same as in shelly app.

I installed the new Shelly Qubino Wave 1PM today. It works but I could not get the power metering does not work. Is this a problem with the app in homey or is my Shelly defect?
Thanks
Tom

Read the known issues from the first post. Something that Athom needs to fix.

Thanks, I found the Information also in the Release Notes of the Shelly App. I have to wait till it is fixed. Its not a bug in my Shelly, thats good to know.
Tom

I assume you are aware that the value you see under the app is the value from a specific time period as selected in the graph while the value you see under Homey is the lifetime value as reported by the device. So there could very well be a difference if the selected time period is not the full lifetime of the Shelly cloud does not have all the data is cloud wasnt enabled right from the start (or for any other reason does not have all energy readings).

That’s exactly the problem. Lifetime value in Shelly is not align to lifetime in Homey. That’s is for all my Shelly devices and that happen a couple of weeks ago. All devices have and report to their own ip.
Note that the actual consumption shows correct and same value in Homey as in Shelly app.

I got an email that the Shelly Wall Display is available. Do you think it will be possible to use this as a more general display for Homey?

Perhaps if you flash it with custom firmware.

I have solar panels on 4 locations that are connected to my electricity grid through three Shelly 1 pm devices and one Shelly Plus 1 pm device to measure the generated power and pass it on to my Homey Pro (early 2023) system. I have indicated as the source for the device that it is a solar panel. The measured values of my solar panels should now be displayed in the ‘outer ring’ of the ‘Energy Tab’. That’s not happening. It appears in the inner ring as unknown and shows a negative value in the lines below the graph. If I indicate the source of the solarpanels as ‘Other’ the measured energy is shown in the inner ring as ‘unknown’ used energy and in the outer ring as generated energy.

I contacted Athom about this and they asked me to checked the advanced settings of the devices and check if there is an option to mark the power measurement as cumulative manually.

I looked into the advanced settings and the only options are:
‘ip address’, ‘username’, ‘password’ and ‘always on’

The reaction of Athom to this is the following:

“If the app developer has not made the device driver in a way that you can choose between cumulative energy and not then there is no way for you to change this capability of the device.
Please contact the app developers if you want them to add the device with cumulative energy measuring.”

Is this a possible solution?
