same problem with shelly 2.5 as rollo device , connection loose and no response
Same answer.
Nothing changed for gen1 devices with the last update. If the device canât be re-added even through IP it means you are either using the wrong IP or Homey canât reach the device. Follow the troubleshooting guide from the first post (or just start by rebooting the Shelly and Homey)
Fixed with release 3.20.4.

Thank you, after a reboot of the Shelly I4 everything worked like a charm again!
Thanks for the quick fix!!!

You were right !
My IP has changed âŚ
Now, everything is OK
Regards
All work fine!
Many thanks for quick fix.
Hi,
Homey updated this morning from 8.1.5 to 8.1.6 - since that very moment my shellys are not reachable anymore.
Nothing changed in the setup, also checked the IP of the shelly which is reachable from the subnet both Homey and Shelly are in âŚ
Continuing troubleshooting but this is weird

Thanks Robert for the suggestion.
This would mean that a proper restart of homey (which I did of course) is less efficient than pulling the plug and leaving the system in an uncertain status.
Now I would have tried that as well but the shellies started to work again ⌠without me doing anything.
I realize that there is a new version for the Shelly 1 is FW 20230503-095514/v1.13.0-g9aed950 vs 20220809-123240/v1.12-g99f7e0b that I am currently using âŚ
I am a bit reluctant applying it for now as ALL Shellies stopped working not only the Shelly 1, also my 3, those with and those without PM ⌠so am still trying to figure out what could have triggered the problem.

This is completely unrelated to firmware. When all Shellies arenât updating their status (or wonât even execute commands) itâs a networking issue.
There are multiple possible causes.
- IP is Homey isnât static and changed breaking communication with the Shellies
- Homeys networking stack is being funny
- The Shelly app wasnât started properly and is not listening to status updates
- There is something misconfigured in the network of the user
The first three are most likely to be fixed by just rebooting Homey.
Long term Homey users will tell you that pulling the plug often solves issues that a normal restart wonât.
Thanks for the replies
@Phuturist - fully agree and Homeyâs networking being funny is/was the most likely
@robertklep - Yeah didnât disagree just it comes back to the funny network stack âŚ

Hi,
I recently purchased a Shelly Button 1. I could configure it perfectly like all my other Shellyâs, it also connected easily with Homey. However, no signal is received, no battery information is shown but worse, no button actions can be picked-up in a flow.
Any idea what is wrong? Maybe I have found a bug?
Please see below some screenshots:
Hope you are able to help.
Which steps of the âTroubleshooting your setupâ section in the first post of this thread did you follow?
Hi Robert, I double checked, but all steps are walked trough. It is not that Homey is not communicating with it, there is simply no information from the button reaching Homey and flow cards seem to be missing. All my other 36 Shelly devices work perfectly but none of them are a shelly button.
Could you post a screenshot from the settings as described under step two of the mentioned troubleshoot guide.
Hi Phuturist,
Please see below:
I noticed that the time is not there as well, my other Shelly devices give the current time like it should be. Battery is on charge for like 2 days now and still says 90%. Could there be something wrong with the firmware for this specific Shelly or maybe a malfunctioning product?
Try rebooting the button.
No change, just tried it again.
I did reboot it before. Even did reset the botton to factory defaults, connect it to my WiFi and checked in Homey again. Same result.
Rebooted the Shelly App several times, rebooted Homey. No changes.
Signal and battery only change when updated. If they havenât changed yet since pairing nu value is shown. Could you post your flow.
