What account details? Do you have authentication set on the device? Is si, just a wild guess. Try removing the authentication on the motion to pair it.

I removed the username and password and it connected, before it wasn’t like that and it was possible with the details.

Have an issue I can’t explain with Shelly 2.5.

I added the module on the native Shelly app, and I can control both contactors on it.

Then I added the module on Homey, and then the things gone wrong.
I can control the second contact

So, i tried to reboot everything, homey, Shelly app on Homey, pair device again. Nothing helps.

The strange thing that I noticed is when I restart the Shelly app on Homey, I can control the second contactor like 1 or 2 minutes and then I loose the control, and have the same thing on the previous screenshot.

Do you have any idea ?

Looks like a bug. What app version and Shelly firmware are you using? And can you send me a diagnostic report from the app settings.

I’m using Shelly v3.14.0 on Homey, and for the firmware, i can’t check i beacause idk why i don’t have acces to general settings 
 (cf screenshot)

I think it’s beacasue au the update alert panel hidding settings button, but the updatade doesn’t want to install

I have had quiet some issues with the Android app. You can also try to install updates using the web interface (just go to the IP of your Shelly device). In my experience much more stable.

Does this apply to the regular I4 as well? My i4’s are no longer usable through the events.
If yes, what is the best way to notify Athom about this issue?

As mentioned in the instructions, use the Web UI to connect your device to the cloud, give it a minute and check for new firmware. Then install it. Is the issue remains after this post back here.

Yes it does. I’ll look into the action events later this week. No need to ask Athom about this. They won’t be able to help you. This is on Homey Cloud right?

Just tested this on Shelly Plus i4 firmware 0.11.3 (latest stable) and 0.12.3 (latest beta) and it works fine when the channel is set to button.

I tried to to update with web interface, still the same problem i can’t install new update :pensive:

You should contact Shelly support. If you have any technical skills you can install the latest firmware through the API.

I promise I’m not being flippant, but I gave up on Shelly wireless Door Window sensors as they became impossibly unreliable and the batteries cost more than the devices and those batteries don’t last anywhere near as long as expected. Worse is that they aren’t even reliable within shellys own phone app, even when in the same room as the wifi AP

All my Shelly’s work via the shelly app but are irresponsive (time-out after 30000) in homey since this afternoon.

Rebooting the shelly app in homey doesnt work, nor rebooting homey. I also tried rebooting a few shellys but to no avail.

Anything im missing?

Can be loads of things. No changes in the app though so it’s something on your end. Use the networking troubleshoot guide from the first post.

Thousand apologies for wasting your time.
I had mines set to switch, instead of button. All ok on the i4 actions.

Also, a few months ago I reported a memory leak on the pro. In the meantime I had my Homey replaced by Athom for another hardware issue and the new one seems to be ok so far. It’s a fully fresh install however. Hopefully the Pro2023 will not have such issues anyway.

Did you find a solution jet?

I use flows like this on a Homey Pro to solve the problem of app crashes. Probably need to use developer tools page to enable Power user functions.
