[APP][Pro&Cloud] DoorBird

Unfortunately, with the latest version of the Doorbird app (3.2.2), it appears that the images are not showing again.

It’s not related to the latest version of the app but another bug with Homey Cloud. I’ll report it to Athom.

ok, thanks for the info.

This is the latest reaction from Athom about this issue.

Thank you for the screenshots. We have been able to find the issue and is currently rolling out on our systems. Fetching images should work again within a couple of hours.

It should be fixed by now and I just confirmed it as working again.

Hi,
Ive got a question/request regarding the settings of door bird - or perhaps I am just looking for a workaround.
I am using Heimfal with Eufy Cameras, which are turned on if Heimdal is set active and vice versa.

I would also like to include the Doorbird motions sensor in this flow. Would it be possible to implement toogling the Doorbird motion sensor on/off via the app?

There is no straight forward way to do so with the DoorBird API and the non straight foward ways have downsides and are needlessly complex. Unless more than 5 users would like to see this implemented I wont be spending my time on it.

For future reference, possible options are:

Actually disable motion events on the device

  1. Save http motion notification schedule in parameter
  2. Remove schedule when toggled off
  3. Re-add saved schedule when toggled on

or a little less intrusive:

Ignore motion events based on a device setting

  1. Add a custom device setting
  2. Toggle this setting with a flow card and/or device setting
  3. Report or ignore motion events based on this setting

Hi there, my flow suddenly stopped working with an message:

door bell ring history is not empty, I just rang my door bell.

Only thing that changes is that I got a new (i)Phone…
The other E-Mail few on the left runs just fine…

Any ideas?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Yes, I restart the Doorbird and the Doorbird app for homey.

… and Homey, to be on the safe side…

Send me a diagnostic report after running the flow. I’ll see if that contains some info. It’s weird though as there has not been any update recently.

I am pretty sure the mistake is somewhere on my side, I just canĀ“t figure out what it is… I didn’t really change anything (other than a new iPhone)

Nope, it’s a bug in the app that has been there for quite some time. I guess you never used the history snapshot email card. And apparently the other 1000+ users dont use it as well.

It is great to have this app, but all of a sudden the ā€˜the doorbell rings’ card does not trigger anymore, unless I set the URLs for notifications again. However, that only functions for a few minutes at most. What is going on, and how can I repair?

The problem report number is f5f059a4-7e89-4e11-852d-8fa2e9fec1e6.

There is nothing in the log and the app hasn’t been updated recently. You will have to figure out what recently changed in your setup. Perhaps another system that is overwriting the notification schedule. Did you check the notification schedule in the DoorBird smartphone app?

Thanks for looking at the log.
I did change a few things in the setup, but only adding a flow that reacts on the ā€˜the doorbell rings’ event. So that shouldn’t be it, right?
I am not sure what you mean by notification schedule. I’ve checked the doorbird app, and I have ā€˜Push Notification Settings’, which has the option to set the doorbell notifications as critical alerts (but I have not set this). The only other thing slightly related to this would be the ā€˜Automated Timer Schedules’ but I do not have one. Could you elaborate a bit? Thank you.

Under the DoorBird management section in the official app you can select for instance time schedule for the doorbell. When you select that there is a drop down in the top left where you can select http calls. After selecting that the middle top drop down will hold the http calls added by Homey. For doorbell make sure the doorbell trigger is selected and the full schedule is enabled.

Thanks again, this time for the elaboration.
I’ve checked this schedule, and the Homey Doorbell Trigger is enabled for the full schedule.
However, still no result. Any other ideas?
BTW, the Motion Trigger and the Relay Trigger are disabled for the full schedule. I presume this is no issue?

Reset the DoorBird and start from scratch?

Hi, I am having another issue: I am running a flow that uses Heimdal to detect a motion alert from. any of my cameras (ins this case: the DoorBird camera) and then pushes the image to my phone.

In my last post it became clear that there is a bg that causes the wrong photo to be pushed.

However, the issue now is: I do get a wrong image pushed my phone (which I expected duebonthe jug), but the motion alert history in the original DoorBird app is not showing any recent events…

Any ideas?

This bug is already resolved.

You have not enabled the free cloud recording to actually record the motion events?
