[APP][Pro] Bticino/Legrand/Netatmo - Home control, based on Netatmo Cloud API

Hi @Gal_Carmeli ! Am I the only one using BTCINO CLASSE300 Monitors for Doorbell? They have IP Connectivity with WIFI and it would be great to connect them to Homey Pro.

Sent you the invitation in a PM.

@Trond_Nordfjaern - do you see those 406 errors also with the official app?
If so, what exactly are you doing that causes this error? Setting a target-temperature of a valve, or anything else?

Hi @macgeis - I am not aware of anyone else who is using it.
If you like, send me diagnostics report (App settings → Send diagnostics report button) and I will see if your device is documented on Netatmo’s docs and if I can support it.
Once you send the report, please ad a comment describing the issue so i will know how to correlate to your case

Yes, I indeed see those 406 errors in relation to the official app. I only see this in relation to the valves and specifically when (trying to) adjust temperatures. I.e., the weather station, doorbell etc. behave totally fine.

This happens when I try to adjust (raise or increase) temperatures on the valves. The 406 occurs consistently when doing this (e.g. by simple flows then card, by advanced flows then card or by manually turning on the “temperature wheel” within the device itself in Homey). The “set mode” then card curiously works fine though, so it seems to only be the ‘set temperature’ capability on the valves that are affected.

In that case, if it happens also on Netatmo formal app - I do not see anything I can do.
If you have connection to Netatmo maybe you can ask for their support through their formal Homey app. It seems like the fix needs to be done on their side

@_Gesperrt - I implemented your device. I will let you know once I release the new version (it will take a few days until Athom will approve my release)

@_Gesperrt - version 1.1.28 was just released. It includes support to your adjustable-blinds.
Once you are upgraded (you can check the version on app-settings page), add a new device, and choose “Bticino Shutter” device. You will see your blindes listed there.
Please let me know if it works for you.

Thank you Gal. I actually assumed, but had a slight hope that you might discover something that Athom has failed to detect. It is Athom themselves who maintain the official Netatmo app. I have posted to Netatmo support as well as Athom support. Really hope this will be fixed, the most inhibiting bug I have experienced with Homey to date and affects one of the largest vendors of smart valves in Europe. Affects two apps. I can only assume it is high up on their priority list. Thanks anyway.

Sorry I couldn’t help more.
If you hear anything from either Athom or Netatmo, please share.

Great Work!

I tested the release. Works fine, but in the official app there is a settings (in the shutter settings) to open the blinds. (Screenshot → Setting “Bevorzugte Position” [Favourite Position])
If the setting is activated, you get a fourth button, which opens the blinds. (Screenshot2)
Is it possible to implement this setting and the 4th button for each blind?

Gal, there is a new version of the Athom Netatmo app (5.6.5 test). Really happy to tell that this seems to have fixed the issue for me. Did not even need to repair the devices. Set temperature works nicely both from flows and manually on the device wheel.

I tested with a device added through your app as well, and the issue still pertains there albeit it seems to be fixed in the official app. You may want to get in touch with Athom who probably (now) know how to fix this.

Thanks for that info!!!
I will need first to reproduce the bug and see it with my own eyes.
@Trond_Nordfjaern - you you be willing to share your Netatmo home with me, and allow me to play a bit with one of your valves in order to see the issue? I will only increase 1 degree and derease 1 degree, so your home temperature will not really be affected. I will also put it back in its original state once I am done testing.
In order to share your home, open the Netatmo Control + app on your smartphone, click the settings (“Gear”) icon at the bottom, choose “Guests” and then “Invite a user”. Use my email.
Please notice that once you share your home with me, i will be able to see all of your devices. I am committed not to change any of your devices except the one you allow me to play with.

Sure, I would be willing to do that. However, can you guide me a little more detailed in terms how to enable guest. Have not done it before. I look under Bticono/Legrand/Netatmo (under apps) on my phone, but cannot see any gear at the bottom (only top right). And that one only allows restart, diagnostic report and removing the device.

Edit: Do you mean in the Energy app created by Netatmo, aka the stock phone app supplied by Netatmo and not in the Homey app?

Thanks for your trust.
Yes, I mean the Energy app comming from Netatmo on your smartphone.

Can you PM your email-adress?

Done!

Sorry just seen this, and just seen it’s now there! I will test and feedback on any issues but looks great, thanks so much.

Hi @_Gesperrt - Sorry, I somehow missed your message.
I need to see if the API allows me to open the blind somehow. Let me get back to you.

@_Gesperrt - I need to “play” with one of your shutters. Is there a specific one I can play with without interfering you? We need one that has the open-blinds option
