Recently my Netatmo outdoor cam device in Homey has been broken a couple times. Resolved by restarting the app. Currently it appears online, but I get an error when changing the on/off state:
@Gal_Carmeli there seem to be issues again with the cloud connection and/or api. My outdoor cam is oftentimes not controllable from within Homey. Netatmo’s own smartphone app works fine though. Do you know more about this?
I have just started using this app instead of the official one. The polling rate of the official app was too low for my use, and this app seems to poll every minute or so so it suits my use case very well.
However, I’ve only used it a few hours and I’ve already had to repair my device once because it had an error.
I only use the weather station + outdoor module.
Hi @Fred_Braun - Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do in order to fix this. It depends on how fast Netatmo are sending my app the notification that motion was detected.
On some cases, it’s related to the load on Netatmo’s servers and the issue usually fixed by itself after a period of time.
Hi @Millbridge - Unfortunately, Netatmo does not provide me with an API to activate the siren. This request was already raised by some others, but until Netatmo provides with the proper API I wil not be able to implement it.
I can offer you to open a request in front of Netatmo. Once they provide the API I will be happy to implement it in my app.

In general, the issue is related to the hard limitation on API usage Netatmo started to enforce. I will publish a post on it soon, but the email I sent you contains all the details.
