@Vincent_Pena can you elaborate what you mean? I will most likely add some additional sensor. However keep in mind that as homey adds all sensor in a single page it is going to make a lot of noise if we add all sensor data.
Unfortunately I still get the same error message when trying to add a new device.
seems to be broken again unfortunately. Worked for a day
I just received the update and the app didn’t work once more… But I just started it again , and it seems to solve the probleme
But broken 30 minutes later…
v1.0.9 installed and stuck, repaired the device but the login failed on both the Homey web app and iPhone.
v1.0.4, v1.0.7 are working flawlessly.
From 1.0.7 no changes have been made to login. Some old flows have been removed. Location change and drive session end trigger improved. Start drive session added. Look at the logs and see what the error is.
error is “489: Error occurred while attempting to retrieve token. Server response: Blocked”.
Also, when repairing the device it doesn’t allow for adding the client ID and/or give the “authenticate device” code any longer. Could it be that you, by accident, rolled back to the old (pre 1.07) authentication method, breaking the connection?
Log set to Debug.
Repairing the device gives the BMW login prompt with username/password and Captcha instead of the previous Client-ID login. Captcha check is not accepted on the Homey Web App login.

Log in failed.
The UI looks wrong, i assume there was an issue with installation of the app. Please uninstall and reinstall the test version. This is old log screen. Currently in the app the old login flow/screen have been completely removed, including all those log messages.
Also in the diagnostic logs I see there was polling every 5 mins which means that most likely you will be receiving 489 blocked for a while.
@Hannes85 maybe you have similar app installation issue, can you share your logs.
that did the trick… so on the automatic installation it said it ran 1.09 but did not show the “experimental” label anymore. I went to the test link of the app and installed it on top/over the current version. After that it showed “experimental” again and instantly updated the car’s information.
Seems as if the automatic update pushed the old version but incorrectly stated the version number.
Thanks!
Hero! Removing and reinstalling solves the problem. Entered only the Client-ID and all was working except rebuilding some flows but I saved them before uninstalling the device.
As @Hannes85 says, seems the automatic update pushed the old version as v1.0.9.
Same behavior after 1.0.10 got pushed. Had to overwrite with the latest test build
Not sure why this is happening. As it has nothing to do with the app might be that while it tries to auto update it mixes artifacts from stable and test. I will push another update soon with the refuelling flow fixed and some cleanup of flows.
That version will also contain additional debug info like the cached telematics data and the constructed vehicle object in the developer tab. Using that will be able to easily add additional sensors from user request.
As the sensors are all in one screen in homey probably will add only a few more sensors to ensure the view stays clean. Will share a poll here.
Hopefully will push the next version to stable if there are no issues found in the mean time.
Thanks everyone for the feedbacks.
