Hi,

I can’t login in the app while I’m adding the car. I’m using the same login details on My BMW, but it doesn’t work in your app. Can you please help my what I’m doing wrong?

You need to use the test version of the app. Please read the first post in this thread. BMW has blocked access to the ConnectedDrive API. You need to setup cardata and then can login using your generated clied id.

I still get the authentication error after inputting my client id:

I am on version 1.0.11. I did follow your link to the test version, but it redirects me to the URL that does not have the /test path. It also does not say Experimental in the app.

I see that only BMW EU owners can use the app presently. As a USA owner, would you consider adding the BMW USA portal?

Hello,

I used to have this kind of flow in old version of app.

In the new one, the climate now function is only visible in “when” tab but not in “then” tab. Any idea how to make it work again please? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi all trying to register my BMW to the app, trying to go to the customer.bmwgroup.com/cardata page but it kees saying this page doesnt exist, what am I doing wrong? thanks Bart (PS located in the Netherlands)

I can not even get the cardata part to work. I get different customer IDś and none of them work.

which version are you using? i’m currently on 1.0.13 test version and it works fine

It now works, but i received a time-out several times before it accepted it.

With 1.0.11 I never gets past the “waiting for authorization”. Always times out.

With 1.0.13 test version I get an error: “Failed to create container. HTTP error 403: Unknown error.

I also get stuck on the Authorization. I follow the link and enter the code, the page tells me “LOGIN SUCCESSFUL”. However, when I get back to Homey it tells me Authorization Failed.

I read in the “Readme.md” that user mapping needs to be “PRIMARY”. I have only one car registered, so I assume it would be the primary? Where can I double check that?

Also, I do see the Client ID under “Car Data API” but didn’t “Authenticate Device”:

Could that be the problem? (Was hoping that the BMW Homey App would take care of it, since I don’t understand the steps…)
