A stupid question but could be costly if not asked. I have been planning the lighting indoors and outdoors and have decided to use Philips Hue Homey combo for that. Question is simple: do all Philips hue products that work with the Hue Bridge integrate to Homey without problems? In other words, con…

My experience has been Yes, all the Hue products that I have connected to 3 bridges, indoor and outdoor products do work well with Homey. I wish I could say that that was all Hue products but it isn’t. I have several outdoor hue strips, floodlights and outdoor sensors. Indoors I have dozens of Hue s…

Thank you for the answer. This cleared things up. Is there some type of limit to devices you can connect to Hue Bridge or problems with the connection range since there is a need for several bridges?

Yes, there is a limit to how many devices you can connect to a Hue bridge, 50 if memory serves. That’s why I have 3 bridges and it’s something that Homey helps manage more conveniently than thet Hue phone app as it cannot “see” more than one Hue bridge at a time. Easy enough to swap between bridges …

Hi Does anyone know if its possible to see what room the scene exists in when using the flow card to activate a scene? I know I can rename them but my enviroment was built first and used for voice control in some rooms so preference is not to re-word them. The issue is if you have a scene with sa…

I figured that might be my only option - thanks for the update.

I have a problem with one of my Hue light bulbs. I have a flow which turns on and off lights on different times. Turning on and off this light via this flow works fine, but after a short while the light turns off again. When I view the log for the lightbulb I can see that the Philips Hue app turned …

@Andreas_Lindahl You should know when a light is dimmed to 0%, by a flow or manually, the log entry is the same: turned off by [app name]. I can recommend to install the “Audit” app , it might reveal what’s going on at the time of the “turned off” event.

@Peter_Kawa Good to know. However, I don’t dim this light at all. It’s always set at a constant brightness and I only turn it on or off. This doesn’t always happen, by the way, but it happens more often than I would prefer, i.e. never… I’ll check out the Audit app.

Had the same problem and I just name the scenes in Hue so that they are easier to identify in Homey and other home automation systems.
