[APP] Netatmo - Same home, just smarter. (by Athom)

Strange, It is still working on my side.

mine doesnā€™t work either unfortunately

Hi, Iā€™m getting this error in the advanced flow when the flowā€™s trying to set the temp on a valve.
Error: Nothing to update (Code 406)

I assume this issue is introduced in the latest update 5.6.1

5.6.1
10 sep. 2024
Fixes an issue with the Netatmo Valves. This breaks the current ā€œSet Modeā€ Flow cards which did not work and is replaced by a new ā€œSet Modeā€ Flow card

Hi everyone,

Iā€™m experiencing an issue with my Netatmo valves on the Homey Pro 2023. The devices appear connected in the app, but when I try to run a flow, I receive the following error message:

Error: Nothing to update (Code 406)

Iā€™ve already updated the app, restarted it, and even restarted the Homey, but the issue persists. Has anyone encountered a similar problem or know of a solution to this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

They developed the app.

Same Problem here.

A test version of the app was released yesterday with the following information in the changelog:

Version 5.6.2 ā€” Fix for valve error.

So pleas try the test version if it solves your issues:

Otherwise, please contact Athom support.

For me it solved the issue with the set mode (to program) card, but the issue related to the ā€˜set temperatureā€™ then-card still remains in the test version. Already been in contact with Athom regarding version 5.6.1 and submitted a diagnostic report upon their request. They seem to be on the case which is obviously a good thing.

I already have a support ticket.
But just installed the new test version. And it doesnā€™t solve my issue:
canā€™t control (manually or via flow) the valves (set/change temperature) from Homey (both iOS app and web). I still get the ā€˜code 406ā€™ error.

Can anyone of you check, if this error code also appears with this app?

Because both apps uses a cloud api, both apps should work in parallel without the need to delete devices.
I know, it might not the solution you want to hear, but itā€™s just a test.

Just installed and itā€™s the same (error 406).

Could someone of you check the system status of Netatmo? Just google for it.

From what I can see (Googled it) the latest service incident was 21/9 to 23/9 and all services are back to normal. I can still control all my Netatmo valves via the native Netatmo Energy App.

Yes, the set temperature card also fails with one of the valves added by that app. I also noticed that another user reported this earlier, drawing the suspicion over to the Netatmo API (or both these two appsā€™ interaction with the API).

I also have full operation and no issues with the native app.

Same problem here, canā€™t control valves from homey manually, or in a flow. Message: Error, nothing to update (Code 406).
The Netatmo energy app is working normally.

Tried the test version, reinstall, repair, restart app. Nothing fixed the problem

Hi,

I have also tested the new version 5.6.2, and Iā€™m experiencing the same error as in my previous post. However, if I use the home script/JavaScript I created to check if it was an issue with Homey, itā€™s possible to perform both GET and POST requests to https://api.netatmo.com/api/, including setting the various parameters via the home script/JavaScript.

The reason behind this approach is that I heard from people using HA that they didnā€™t have any issues with Netatmo, so I looked into pyatmo, which is part of the system used to manage it in HA.

Hi,

Read my previous post, hereā€™s a solution that works, but it requires the following to be installed:

Bticino/Legrand/Netatmo app
SmartThings Community app

Add Netatmo to SmartThings.
Import all your thermostats into SmartThings so you can see them there.
Go to the SmartThings Community app on Homey and add your thermostats.
Go to the Bticino/Legrand/Netatmo app on Homey and add your thermostats.
What options do you have then?

Through the SmartThings Community app on Homey, you can use the ā€œSet the heating temperatureā€ function to set the desired value.

Through the Bticino/Legrand/Netatmo app on Homey, you can use the ā€œSet home to home scheduleā€ function if you want to revert to the schedule you normally use.
