I submitted an app the other day and in the feedback it was suggested I change its name to the name of the company it supports. However, I’m a third party and the company and products are not mine, so I’m looking for a little guidance in using someone elses trademark as my app name. I would think that wasn’t okay, but perhaps it is? Feedback appreciated.
If Athom wants you to use a company name, ask them to indemnify you against any possible trademark claims. Legally you are liable to potential trademark (and possibly misrepresentation) claims.
