i can’t believe there is not an official ThinQ app in homey to control aircons via API… it’s an LG property, isn’t it?

So it should be here within 9 days (famous last words…).

Don’t get your hopes up, if Home Assistant is anything to go by, the community-made integration is much better than the official integration.

Have you tried the community app for Homey? LG Thinq App for Homey | Homey

yes…it was ok until last week…Lg changed something in API and V1 Aircon are all offline…
the Dutch developer is working on a new version but is “strange” that an LG product isn’t supported by LG…

The app is installed correctly and the devices can be added (in my case wall-mounted air conditioners).
Trying to turn on the air conditioner, the switch takes the command, the air conditioner turns on (and is also intercepted by the thinq app) but immediately afterwards the switch in homey is off and does not take further commands.
Homey app doens’t sync with thinQ app.

I also like to report some missing things in the app to control my LG airco.

I’m not able to control the jet mode and not able to set the swing options and the air direction.

Anyone used the ThinQ App to control an LG TV. How do the flow cards work that 1. Launch Application, 2. Switch to Channel, and 3. Set TV Input work. I would like to confirm that using one of these 3 flow cards that I can select TV or HDMI port as the input, Change the TV channel if TV input selected, or select Youtube, Disney etc using the Launch Application flow card.
Could someone please confirm or correct me.

I can’t get past the login page. I enter my LG details and it just hangs

LG just released an WebOS TV app as well, but probably it’s just the TV part ‘cut out’ of the Thinq app.
But it’s worth a try:
