My findings with the Bilresa dual button after some frustrating testing with Matter over Thread.
I had some problem adding the switch to Homey. The method that worked best, was to add the Bilresa button to Apple home since I’m using Apple tv as my TBR.
From there, I could share the button to Homey.
The button works very well with Apple home, I could configure the button to switch on a Kajplats light bulb with one click on the button, and switch off the bulb with a double click or a long press.
Trying to make a similar flow with Homey did not work.
It seems that Homey does not distinguish the click pattern, there seems to be no difference from one click and long pressure.
Not sure why, but for the Ikea app for Homey, the only flow for the Bilresa button is to check for changes in the battery level, maybe the flows for the buttons is not yet added?
It’s been almost a month since every IKEA device stopped working after I upgraded to HP26. I filed a case with Athom and they replied dec 31 with the issue being known but no timeline to fix.
The more cases they get, the more it needs to be prioritized. So please everyone having the issue, file a case with athom.

Does a KAJPLATS (GU10) light connected directly to Homey Pro 2023 (without the IKEA hub) have the option to set the Power On state in the advanced settings? And if the option is there does it actually respect the setting?
I need to have one of my lights not turn on when the main switch is turned on.
Today I re-registered all the lamps after deleting the Ikea app.
I installed app v2.9.4 and connected all the Kajplats lamps via the Matter symbol, the first one via Homey and the rest via Android because they were placed too far from Homey.
It went smoothly and without any problems. The myggspray sensors and Bilresa will be installed tomorrow.
Except for the E27-1521lm lamps, the 1055lm and 470lm lamps did appear in the app. As did the myggbett.
Maybe it’s just me but I would like to have some clarification about all the different buttons the Bilresa scrollwheel has when configuring in the app.
Can someone explain to me for example what the difference is between all these options?
