Thanks
I want to buy the H61B5 Govee RGBIC LED Strip Lights with Covers | Govee EU, canât find the number in this thread.
Will it be supported?
If yes, is it possible to change the color in sections? Or do i have to set this up in the Govee app?
Thx in advance
Same generic answers apply. As this one.
I can ât give guarantees, govee doesnât list api support in their spec sheets
I am having the same problem with only a few of my devices. I tried a new api key and adjusted the throtting time. I also reinstalled the devices on the Govee app and on homey. Nothing worked.
Somebody any idea?
Hi.
Is there no support for Auto-Play for like the Curtain lights ?
Anyone know ?
Not part of api capabilities unfortunately.
Well thats anoying to have to start it manually after each power off.
But thx for the quick info ![]()
Probably can make it work like through a snapshot, then create a flow when connectivity is back online start the snapshot? Something like that
Auto-Play is setup to play like 15 snapshots (As a playlist) so it runs them all in loop, each one runs for 5 min. I dont think that kan be saved as a Snapshot ?
But when The Curtain is turned off, the Auto-Play option is also turned off, and when its powered on again it just runs the one snapshot it was turned off at
And i manually have to turn Auto-Play on again.
If the snapshots are available through the flow cards (not all are). Then you can do this in a flow also, start snap 1 delay 5 minutes, start snap 2 etc
Hi,
Iâm trying to add Govee TV Backlight T2 (H605C). I can find it in Google Home but not in Homey.
Cloud and or local api?
Iâve installed the official Govee app and it asked me for the app-generated API which was sent me by email.
And then you used the add device wizard in Homey, what type of device did you select, light or local api device?
Also try again after you restart the govee app in Homey.
I tried âLightâ and it didnât work. But Iâve just retried now: âLocal API deviceâ didnât work, âLightâ worked. Canât tell you whyâŚ
Hi! I recently installed a Govee COB Strip Light Pro and added it as a Local API device. Controlling the device through the Homey app works perfectly but when I turn on the lightstrip with the remote or with the Govee iOS app then the device isnât turning on in the Homey app. When I do an app restart in Homey then it shows as âonâ.
Am I doing something wrong or? ![]()
No, those updates are broadcasted by the device and I process the received updates. Some devices are not sending all their changes and some network issues might block them.
Iâll see if I can add a periodic sync state request like what I do at app start
I could add it as a Matter device also⌠Maybe that will do the trick? I was thinking it was preferable to add it as a local API device.
Edit: adding it as a Matter device works perfectly⌠Even having the ability to select some effects (didnât know Matter could do this). Great!
Yes, matter is getting more mature very fast. I was also surprised when I looked at it.
