perfectâŚmany thanks.
Hi is H5179 supported by the app?
Since govee doesnât keep their list up to date i can not confirm this without someone trying.
Is it wifi enabled then big chance it is, does it support local api or matter then it will be to an extent. Itâs it BT then no.
When adding new Govee devices, does it make any difference which option I chose when adding them? Local API device, Light or as a Matter device?
yes
Light depends on the cloud to operate, has throttle limits but has by far the most capabilities to get the most out of your light
Local api, fully local, no cloud and internet required, but only operates basic operations.
Matter is very much the same as local api.
Additionally the local api version can be enhanced to enable the cloud operations, so all basic methods run local without dependancy on the cloud and internet but the missing features are using the cloud.
on/off, dim etc supported by all threee
scenes or diy etc supported by cloud operations (light or enhanced local api)
Ok, I have currently added all of them as local API devices, and enabled the enhanced features. But I feel like the app bugs out fairly often when using the scene selection and color selection. After I successfully change to another scene and then try to change to a fixed color nothing happens and then I canât change anything in the Govee Homey app, not even turn on/off. If I restart the Govee Homey app it usually works to turn the lights on/off again.
Another question, is there any way to get the ID of the scenes in the Android Govee app that are used in the Govee Homey app?
I can see the name of the scene in the Govee Homey app once I select it, but selecting them one by one to find the correct one is tedious when there are over a hundred scenes to choose fromâŚ
Thatâs why i used flow cards with nice name based selections, why are you looking for those numbers?
Ok, great. Then I will have a look at the flow cards ![]()
Hi, is it possbile to add a flow card to start a âTap and Goâ preset? for now i have to start them via alexa sceneâŚ
Unfortunately they are not available through the cloud api. So not unless someone finds some reference online how it can be done.
ok thank you for the app anywayâŚ

Hi Kaoh,
First of all thank you for your work. Its greatly appreciated!
Regarding local integration (without any govee cloud):
-
is there any way to integrate the H60A1 (the ceiling light with a big bottom and a small top ring) / the bottom light seems to be working but the colors dont seem to be correct, and the top light ring is not working on the white tones - warmest and coldest light dont work at all.
-
is it possible to localy integrate H6076 (floor lamp)
If theres any way to help out just let me know and ill do my best.
Regards,
Hi, as far as I know the floor lamp should work, I even have one myself and it is running local api. So that one should work.
The other one, you need to go to the device settings in Homey and find the json capabilities list and send it to me please. I will check what I can do.
First time I heard about two different controllable lights in a single light.
Hi, will the water detectors be supported - H5054. I would like to be able to have a flow send me a notification if water is detected.
Since they are wifi i hope they are. Try adding them through the sensor driver for example.
If they can be added and you miss the right events go to the settings and send me the capabilities list in the advanced settings of the device.
If they donât show up at all seems me a diagnostic report after trying. Then i will give it a look to see if they shown up at all
Hi, so they cannot be added through the sensor option.
Hereâs the code for the Diagnostics Report.
