In general that would make sense. However in this specific case, the Aqara E1 curtain driver device in Homey does not expose the luminance values. Hence you cannot select them as input for a Logic card. These are the available tags:
Ok. There is something to do by the developer.
Yes. Note that I also requested this last year in this post:
Last Homey update 12.4.2 fixed unstable matter connection between Aqara M2 hub and the Aqara Switch EU H2. Very good and economical dimmer (a bit slow reaction but better firmware coming?). I use it with Zigbee to the M2 hub and Matter from the hub to Homey. A lot more settings in M2 to optimize the dimmer and avoid flickering. Now it is perfect!
The H2 Switch from Aqara (not dimmer) is flawless over Matter.
AQARA Door and Window Sensor stopped working 2 days ago. Canāt repair and canāt add back after removing. Any idea on how to troubleshoot? Restarted homey after the latest firmware uofate but still not working. Thanks in advance.
Is the Aqara app still running?
My Aqara zigbee devices seem to be all reporting with the latest app and FW version. So far all my Aqara devices are the zigbee type
After the latest Homey updates the last two weeks, my Aqara motion sensors has been unstable.
Yesterday, there was another Homey update. I have 4 Aqara motion sensors which has stopped communicating after this.
What is actually going on, anyone knows?
Well ordering Aqara M3 Hub since iām getting more Aqara products. So might aswell get the hub.
U think there is some issues with Homeyās Zigbee network?
I read that Aqara motion sensor is ready for thread which Homey also supports.
Zigbee works very good.
What do you mean by that?
Why order this hub?
By what?
Thereās some Aqara hubs you canāt connect directly to homey, but if you connect them to an Aqara hub you can connect the device to the aqara hub and connect the aqara hub to homey.
Cant u just connect the Aqara device directly to Homey?
Some devices, yeah but i got a zigbee aqara smoke detector, itās not included in the aqara app and if i add it to homey using zigbee it wonāt be able to do anything, i need the Aqara hub to use it, so if i get an aqara hub i can connect the aqara hub to homey and use the smoke detector in homey. Iāll be able to automate it from both homey and aqaraās app. Without the aqara hub i canāt automate it from homey or aqara. (It also says on the device that aqara hub is 100% needed to connect to apple home, homey and other smart apps). So without the aqara hub some aqara devices are useless.
I didnāt reply to your post, but to @John_William_Brekkeās post.
Yeah, but i was also wondering what you meant by that. So you might aswell answer him since i didnāt understand what you meant either. ![]()
If people are considering of transferring Zigbee to another device, they might want to consider Zigbee2MQTT as well:
Definately (a lot) more work and needed hardware, but worth the effortā¦
