Okay thank you. But if the device isn’t in the list, it ain’t supported? If not, can it be added? It’s about product number XMOSB01XS.
Correct, if the device isn’t listed in the App Store, then it’s not supported.
If you want to make a device request, you can do so in this topic, or better on Slack, as also mentioned in the first post.
So i can still connect Aqara Smart Roller Shade Controller T1S to Homey Pro 2023?
Aqara P1 Sensor - Homey Bridge
I have the Aqara P1 sensor and a Homey Bridge. I do not have an Aqara hub or other Aqara products. Is it possible to pair the P1 sensor directly to Homey Bridge without any other devices?
Whenever I try to select P1 Sensor in the Homey App, it just says “Unable to connect, something went wrong…”.
Reproduce
- I took out the P1 sensor and activated the battery
- I moved it very close to the Homey Bridge and the WiFi router
- I opened the P1 sensor pairing in the Homey App
- Pairing failed
Edit 21. April 2025
I was able to pair to the Homey Bridge directly with no Aqara hub. The only thing I did was to wait for an hour before trying again. Tried a few times, then the error message stopped showing up. I don’t know exactly why, but there could have been issues with the Homey Cloud or the Aqara Cloud or both for that matter. I’m not sure if the Aqara goes up to the Aqara Cloud, but I know for a fact that Namron devices have their own Cloud that must communicate with the Homey Cloud for it to work. Therefore, it seems to me there was probably some connectivity issues with some cloud software.
So to answer my own question, no you don’t need an Aqara hub and it works directly with Homey, for anyone else wondering.
Keep distance between Bridge and wifi router, 1 to 1.5m at least.
The device is a zigbee device btw, and has no business with the wifi router.
About the bullet list, add these steps:
3b. Push sensor’s pair button until it’s in pair mode (it shows 3 short LED blinks).
3c. Keep pushing pair button shortly every other second
I have exactly the issue, it doesn’t with the Aqara apps neither the Tuya zigbee app.
It seems to be the E1 WXKG17LM.
Thanks for your help.
The Aqara wall switch lumi.switch.b1lc04 is not recognized by the Aqara apps. It is seen as a default zigbee switch but it is working.
No! The Aqara Smart Roller Shade Controller T1S must first be connected to a suitable Aqara Hub and then the shade controller can be connected to Homey via Matter.
(Source see @Doekse’s post)
Yeah, but his post was made back in june 2024, that’s why i’m still wondering cus homey could’ve had any updates that fix that. So what i mean is i don’t know if it’s still like that or if it works now.
Thanks! I was able to solve the issue by just trying again an hour later. Must have been some cloud issues. I updated my initial post.
If you have a Homey Cloud and an Homey Bridge the only Cloud’s / connections are between (Athom’s) Homey-cloud (Status here: https://status.homey.app/ ), your Bridge and your mobile or Web-app.
No other clouds Involved.
Athom can’t do anything about it!
Aqara should produce the Smart Roller Shade Controller T1S with “open” Zigbee or Matter. However, I don’t know if this is even possible without changing the hardware.
In my opinion, this is a sales strategy by Aqara. Customers are forced to buy an Aqara Hub if they want to use this Roller Shade or any other Aqara which need to be connected to their Hubs first.
Well, i guess i get to see that when i get them.
Kinda looks like “rulleskyggemotor” if you ask me. I’ll try to add it directly to homey before i get an aqara hub.
Hi !
I have a few Aqara t1 relay.
These work fine: I can switch the light on via old fasionned switch on wall and via homey.
I do have some flows on these, like when I enter the toilet, switch on the light, start fan.
I am pretty sure this worked before, not anymore.
When I manually (wall switch) turn on light, light turns on but homey dies not see anymore the light is turned on (icon stay grey and do not see power measurements).
So my flow does not work any more.
Any idea?
Thanks
Need extra flow cards for Aqara curtain drive E1 -
flow card “read lumen on light sensor” and
flow card to test “for > < x-lumen” on light sensor
If the sun is shining on the window, you can have a flow to automatically pull the curtains and open them when the sun is no longer directly on the windows.
Does the curtaindrive have a lightsensor ?
If not, a separate light/lumensensor will have the card and you can combine the two in a flow.
If the aqara does have a senor it should have a card/tag or its useless. Maybe it’s hidden as a tag in ‘logic’ ?
yes, it has a separate light sensor and no flow card for control. That’s what I want if the developer is looking at this.
You might want to ask your question in the appropriate topic, so that de developer is actually aware of your request: [APP] Aqara & Xiaomi Smart Home - Simplify your life with a smarter home
As @JohanP already mentioned you can get the lux in a tag of the device using the AND logic card “#number is greater than number”. For #number you select the lux tag of the device.
