[APP] Aqara & Xiaomi Smart Home - Simplify your life with a smarter home

I have insider knowledge about this issue (and fix)

“Nobody cares” :man_shrugging:t3:

Perhaps Athom should do a “Month of What The Heck” like Home Assistant does.

Just a device request, adding the Valve Controller T1 would be awesome.

In progress, as far as I know.

I really do hope a real fix, and not by skipping the one or the other…

Lol, I can disagree

I think the next 60 months are already fully booked

Is there a way to connect the Aqara Temperature Sensor as external sensor for the Aqara Thermostat E1? Or is this at least a work in progress feature?

I have the same issue in HP2019, but with a water leak sensor T1. The device does not register any “water alarm” and flows using “when water alarm is on” do not trigger. Also no battery status, the sensor simply does not seem to send any data to Homey. Five other water sensors trigger fine, they were all added a long time ago. Version 1.11.2 of the Aqara app, HP2019 firmware fully updated.

Many of my Aqara door sensors have just stopped working. They do not register alarms any more, and I can’t seem to identify the cause. Some work, others don’t. The sensors are turned on and paired to Homey Pro, they just don’t trigger any alarms.

Update: seems re-adding them without deleting them and then restarting the Aqara app makes them work again. It’s just a lot of work, and should not happen in the first place. The cause should be identified, and fixed.

You should contact Athom, this isn’t an issue with the Aqara app.

Try to temporary remove Ikea lights from the zigbee mesh if you have any.

It’s an old issue, it’s not getting fixed somehow.

Hi everyone, has anyone managed to add an Aqara Water Leak Sensor T1 to a Homey Pro (Early 2019)? Unfortunately, no matter what I try, Homey can’t find it, and it eventually times out (“Adding a device took too long, no device was found”). I already have an Aqara Water Sensor, but I added it a few years ago, and it might not be a T1. I’ve been trying for hours without success. I searched for solutions but only found mentions that the IKEA Trådfri app might cause issues. However, I don’t have the IKEA Trådfri app installed on Homey. Any ideas? Thanks!

Did you press the button near the water drop icon at the top of the device, so that is remains active during the pairing session?

Thanks for the reply! Of course, and the sensor is blinking blue, indicating it’s in pairing mode. But unfortunately, nothing happens :frowning:

What happens if you try to pair at another location near a Zigbee router device of another brand (if available)?

Thank you for your reply!

I also have a Philips Hue Bridge nearby, but unfortunately, it still doesn’t work.

I already have 14 Aqara devices (sensors etc.) added to Homey without any issues, but this time pairing just won’t succeed.

Do you also have existing Aqara Water Leak Sensor T1s paired to your Homey? Or is this the first one?

Nobody having the same issue?

the matter inntegration for the u200 is very limited in its functions, as I would like to know who opened the door, etc, and that is not possible atm.
Using xiaomi smart home, would that be possible?

This is the first T1 device I’m trying to add. I already have an Aqara Water Leak Sensor paired, but it’s not a T1.

That is strange indeed. I have several of those sensors working on a Homey Pro, but a 2023 model (not a 2019 model). Not sure whether that has an effect. You might want to contact the developer of the Aqara app for Homey for further assistance, if no one else is able to provide you with a solution.

Not sure if this is the right place but is at least linked in the App Store.

Is there any support planned for Aqara wall plug H2 EU?

HP19 and T1 devices does not work well!
Homey and/or developers claim it does but in fact it does not. The only information I have is that it is working in HP23. So go get a new HP and try again because no one cares if you’re on HP19!
