I am experiencing the same problem. Can u guys help me how to switch to experimental firmware? I am at 10.2.1
Trying to migrate from 16 to 23. All zwave nodes are non responsive and in the dev page the list is emptyâŚ
(info: the HP16/19 is at 10.0.5. The HP23 is at 10.2.1, is there a way to get 10.2.1 also on the HP16/19?)
Hi, I don t think you should need a experimental update anymore. That was a couple of months ago. Should have been fixed in latest normal release.
What i did is mainly factory reset again of homey2023 and then restore backup from homey2016 again to homey2023. Wait quite some time and it should be fixed. Otherwise you may need to contact Athom support. I know that some times they remotely need to run some script to fix it.
Ok, am doing that as we speak. Iâll have to be patient I guess and hope it worksâŚ
It did do the trick. Needed to update first and then put the backup back and now it works. Pfew! Didnât want to add 50 zwave devices with even more flows.

Hi @Fred6 , glad that it worked for you, however it is not really clear what you did due to the fact that this thread mention both experimental as well as stable updates to use in the process. ![]()
(@Jan_Spruit feel free to chip in on the statements below should you have any input.

What did âdo the trickâ? You mention that you needed to update first; Do you mean that you updated to the latest experimental RC or just the stable release (which currently is v10.2.1)?
Let me know if below summarized âchecklistâ is a correct depiction of what you did to make it work:
Thank you for your clarification, Iâm sitting with the same exact issue right now and are really grateful for your input. ![]()
Hi,
Latest stable release should be fine
then:
*Factory reset the HP23
If this doesnât work you may need to contact Athom support to assist remotely
Hello Rikard,
Sorry voor de late reply. I tried to migrate and during migration it does a checking for updates step. It will then automatically update to the most recent stable firmware. Then I factory wiped the homey and restarted the migration. With the latest firmware the Zwave table also transferred from the backup and âeverythingâ works. Hop that helps.
