There is a long running thread of people having issues with the Alexa Echo community apps and authentication in France, that appears to be related to DNS. And it may be only certain ISPs that are affected. People in other countries within Europe have not been able to replicate the problem (I have done extensive testing here in the UK 
with no problems being able to be replicated).
Hallo, Er loopt al geruime tijd een discussie over problemen met Alexa Echo-community-apps en authenticatie in Frankrijk; dit lijkt verband te houden met DNS. Mogelijk zijn alleen klanten van bepaalde internetproviders hiervan de dupe. Gebruikers in andere Europese landen hebben het probleem niet kunnen reproduceren (ik heb zelf uitgebreide tests uitgevoerd in het VK , maar kon het probleem niet reproduceren).
