Can you give any hint on where you stand development wise? Any ETA? Sorry, guys are doing great work. Just exited.
The API unfortunately isn’t working as expected and the AJAX team is pretty slow to respond, so all depends on AJAX at the moment
That’s unfortunate. Will it help if the Homey-community will ask Ajax to fix this?
Any new updates from Ajax?
I’m looking forward to the integration with AJAX. Initially, I planned a smart home based on AJAX, I was bribed by the fact that they have their own communication protocol, but it turned out that they do not cover all the necessary functionality, for example, smart Aqara locks, air conditioners, LED lighting, heated floors. And I do not want to have several different applications for a smart home. But Homey + Ajax looks like a way out for me.
I found such a thing https://alarmsysteemwebshop.nl/product/ajax-smartlink/
But I’m not sure that it will integrate Ajax really cool. It looks more like a temporary patch.
If I could set up, for example, a scenario when setting the alarm to lock the smart lock, turn off the air conditioners and heated floors. based on Homey.
Several times I contacted their support on other issues, they help but in their own style) nothing critical.
What you could do is buy an AJAX smart relay and a Fibaro smart implant to connect to homey.
This way you can send a signal from the smart relay as soon as you arm/disarm the alarm to the smart implant. Then homey knows if the alarm is armed or not. With this you can autonate all devices connected to Homey.
This thing works like a charm, i have the same.
Just buy the device above, its not a hacky solution and report armed disarmed partial armed and all alarms etc.
Why buy another device and not wait for the Ajax integration in Homey via the API where Athom and Ajax are working on?
Any news about it?
Ajax uses proprietary protocol
There are feature requests for other major platforms and seems like it not yet on the roadmap
So very likely it will not happen in the nearest future
Only “semi-hack” solution will work
It was written above that Ajax has a closed API and they plan to integrate it with Homey Pro through it.
@Doekse maybe there is some news on integration?
No, homey and Ajax developers are busy with API integration… But goes slower then expected due to issues on api

So it is great then!
Hope it will not end up as other attempts of integrations with Ajax.
Did you read this topic?
Last known ETA was Q1 2025. That didn’t end yet, though last information we got is that there were some hiccups with the Ajax-API and Athom are dependent on Ajax for fixing it. That could be a problem.
Nope, but I communicated with Ajax directly, they simply pointed me out to uartBridge, so I assumed this is the solution
My bad, will read topic (upd: done)
If this will have a good final result I will be extremely glad, I have a lot of Ajax stuff
Thanks for recomendation.
Thanks for the advice, if I understood the principle correctly, then in fact this is the solution that you offer and this https://alarmsysteemwebshop.nl/product/ajax-smartlink/
they basically do the same thing.
They just send the security statuses: disarmed/set/alarm.
At the same time, the Fibaro + Ajax relay bundle can be configured to receive statuses from any Ajax devices - sockets, switches, relays, etc.
For example, Ajax does not have a native ability to connect the light to the opening sensor so that when the contact is open, the light turns on and when closed, it turns off. There is a similar option in security or alarm mode, but then the alarm will be triggered all the time.
At the same time, you can hang such a scenario on the Aqara opening sensor without problems. and connect it to Homey through the Fibaro + Ajax relay gasket
This has been handled before in this thread but needs to be said again you can get the arm and disarm for free… Using a homeassistant installation and then connect with the excelent homey app for homeassistant to get the triggers! Or just wait for athom to be ready with their app!
They are quite similar. But I don’t know which scenario’s/events are supported by this Ajax Snartlink. The Ajax Relais can be used for quite a variety of signals, but as far as I know you need to buy an Ajax Relay for each different scenario you want to distinct.
Any updates or any progress on this matter?
