Adding a legacy Sonos s1 amp to Homey > error in device adding process > Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'map')

Hi,

I bought 4 old Sonos Amps, s1. I have them working via the Sonos App.
Now, i like to include them as a device in Homey, via the Sonos Homey App.
But… i get stuck in the adding process.

The error: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘map’) is displayed.

i tried

  • turning all amps off and on.
  • adding them via the homey app, and online environment.

My question is:
Does anyone recognize this error? any workarounds possible?

Kind regards,

There are plenty of issues with the recent update of the Sonos app mentioned here on the forum.

Is there a way to revert to the previous one? Sorry if it has been asked

It’s only possible if you have a Homey Pro 2023 and a full local backup that contains the previous version of the app.

Thanks, Robert. That’s the part I missed: The backup
The good thing is that they just released a test app for Sonos, and it looks like they fixed the issues.
The downside is that you’ll need to reinstall the speakers.

Where would we be able to find this test app or is it better to wait a few days for the real app to arrive?

Here you go, James: To be honest, I didn’t had the patience to wait for the official release. It F#ucked up my system and I wanted a fix. After 8 hours of use, I can tell you that all’s good
