Adding 2nd HomeWizard Plug-In Battery is causing issues with the energy dashboard?

Hi everyone!

Hope you’re well.

I installed a second HomeWizard Plug-in Battery at my home this weekend. I’ve also added the second battery in my Homey Pro account / app.

From that moment onward the energy dashboard in my Homey iPhone app doesn’t work properly. Normally it would show you the energy usage and so forth, but they no longer load and the whole app seems to stall. If I try to go back to other tabs, like my devices, it doesn’t respond and I need to close the app and reopen again.

By chance, is this is known bug or issue with the app or energy dashboard? Or, is it caused by the fact that I added my second Plug-in Battery?

Any ideas, thoughts, or support is much appreciated!

Thanks a bunch in advance, and enjoy your week!

++ @Rene_Veenendaal you are not alone. :slight_smile:

Hi. I have 2 Marstek batteries. Same problems here. App crashes when 2 batteries are enabled in the energy tab

So wenn it is the case by two different manufacturers and apps, I think it is worth to inform Homey. I don’t know where to report it. When you do let me know so I can report it to. (More reports hopefully gets more attention :winking_face_with_tongue:)

I have the same problem. I made a ticket for Athom Support and they said they are going to look into this problem. I suggest you post a ticket too in order to increase the pressure. It is a known problem since last May.

Never posted a ticket. Where can I do that? In the app, or online? URL?

It looks homey pro firmware 12.8.0 fixes this Problem. Just installed thiS new firmware (today released) and looks Mitch beter. Hope stays this way

It’s probably a coincidence, a fix is not mentioned @ changelog:

Pffff. Energy tab worked fine for some hours. (After firmware update 12.8.0) but now same problems. :scream::sob:

Crashes with 2 batteries

Thanks all for the replies! And same same… have downloaded and installed the latest update, but no success… still keeps crashing in the iPhone app when opening the Energy tab… I’ll see if I can get a ticket across to the folks at Homey. And then wait and watch

Support request made…. They sure don’t make it easy for you to raise one….

Created a ticket…. Homey folks picked up, replied, and closed it in about 30 minutes….

A short recap: “Known problem. We don’t have a fix yet. Not sure if and when it comes. But we’ll go ahead and close the ticket for now.”

Great… (please read out loud with sarcasm  )

I also made a ticket about this. Same answer and result.

I also tried. No succes. I really can not find where. When i make a ticket, select in the ticket my Homey Pro 23 and then “Energy” and then the only option is “ homey community forum”.

WTF do I wrong?

Received a surprise reply on my ticket today (despite it being closed earlier):

”Ik heb een reactie ontvangen van onze developers.

Dit probleem zou opgelost zijn in de volgende update van de Homey app 9.6.3. Dese update wordt vandaag of morgen uitgerold.”

Fingers crossed!
