433 remote is not being registered

Hello all,

Currently I am struggling with a remote.

I got a remote to controller zip screens. If I want to add it it’s not being registered. If I use the dev portal it’s getting some data. But I I wanna replay it I got the message Max payload length 1025 byte.

Does anyone have some clue and can support.

Attached is the remote control.

You need an app for this specific device. If there is no app for your device brand, you can request one here:

You might be able to clone the remote by adding a RF device.

That’s what I also tried. But is is not working

You’d try to add the “Remote Controlled” device, part of the the Brel app; When lucky, it accepts / recognises your remotes’ signals.

Mh that’s also not really working.

With a tuya bridge it is working. But I can’t really add the device from tuya to homey to control it the same as in the tuya app

This makes me think the device is not using 433MHz.

Can you send a link to the product page of that bridge, please?
I can’t find, and did not encounter a Tuya bridge/hub capable of 433MHz yet; I mean a “433MHz to wifi to Tuya cloud servers” hub.
But maybe I’m not well informed.

These certainly exist. They are often the combined IR+433 bridges, those can be found on AliExpress. I’ve never seen one with 433Mhz only though.

You can use Tap-to-Run scenes and run them from a Flow. Then, you can create a Virtual Device and link it to the Flows. This way, you can control the device like any other device in the Homey app
