Zigbee unable to reconnect

Hi,

I´ve got a Pro 2019. Over night all zigbee connections stopped working, although they´ve been visible and online in homey dev mode. After several attempts of rebooting, repairing the corresponding apps, reconnecting the devices, etc. I resetted the Zigbee network via the dev tools.

Then It told me for about 3 hours, “zigbee is currently busy”. When this error was gone, I again rebooted my device. Now the device overview in the devmode is empty - as expected.

I tried to reconnect zigbee devices, but its telling me “driver_not_ready”.

In the dev tools I see the following states under the zigbee tab:

{
  "controllerState": {
    "channel": "",
    "panId": "",
    "extPanId": "",
    "ieeeAddr": "",
    "extendedPanId": "",
    "IEEEAddress": "",
    "networkKey": "",
    "currentCommand": "",
    "softwareVersion": "",
    "routes": {}
  },
  "nodes": {}
}

At this point I dont know what else to do. Any ideas?

This means that ZigBee failed to start, it likely can’t read the config. Can you still add other, non-ZigBee devices?

Yes, Wifi and Zwave devices are working just fine.

Can you still install apps? Have you tried rebooting the Homey again? This sounds like a flash storage failure to me.

You’d replace it’s power brick (they tend to deliver less voltage over time. Zigbee is the first suffering from it);

If that doesn’t help:
the Full software download solved the weirdest zigbee issues:

  • Turn Homey upside-down
  • Wait for 1 - 1.5 minutes
  • Open Homey app, tap on your Homey name at the top, and from the selection list, tap “add a new Homey” (sounds strange, but it"s how it works)
  • when your Homey is found, connect to it"s wifi AP and follow instructions, look for “Full software download”

Don’t select factory reset! (some managed to do it)

The power supply was sufficient, but the full software download did the trick. Thanks!
