Anyone tried these on the homey?
When you mean “do they function @ Homey”? then yes, they should > by using the generic Homey zigbee driver.
They’re Tuya Zigbee devices. You can try to add them as a generic device or using the Tuya Zigbee app. If those don’t work, you can also use a Tuya Zigbee or MultiMode gateway with the official Tuya app
Yeah that is what i’m thinking in general. However, looking to see if anyone have proven experience in getting these working under homey i.e. generic zigbee or tuya apps etc.
Have you actually installed these? There is also another similar brand called LUUMR…
These are WiFi bulbs, right? They work with Tuya:
They should work with Homey. I have no experience with those, but I do have many other Tuya WiFi lights that all work flawlessly
Thanks - I’ve ordered 2 of these to test. Will reported back…
Just received a pair of these today, shipped from China.
They paired easily as native Zigbee devices in Homey. After setting “What’s plugged in?” to Light, on/off, dimming, adjustable white from 2700K–6500K and RGB control all work correctly. I have also grouped them successfully using the <group> app.
Unfortunately, Alexa cannot discover either the new GX53 lights or their group through the official Homey Alexa skill. This provides another example of the wider issue I am currently investigating with Athom, where existing Homey devices continue working through Alexa but newly added devices are not discovered.
Full details and comparison testing are available here:
If anyone is experiencing the same problem, please add your Homey model, OS version and affected device type to that thread or raise a support ticket with Athom. Additional reports may help establish the scale of this core integration fault.
