One thing that would be great is a history log of device updates, in the device update section, rather than only showing this in the timeline
My Ikea and Aqara devices are being updated. But while the update is going on everything slows to a crawl. Has anyone else experienced this?
Homey (web-app) claims that no updates are available for my devices. I kind of doubt that, as I have several old Ikea Fyrtur blinds that have never seen any Ikea hub and thus never received any FW updates. Do the provided Ikea FW for Homey only include the most recent product lines or are there plans to cover the entire range of Ikea smart products? This also goes for e.g., Fibaro plugs, Elko thermostats etc. I acknowledge that it is very early days for this feature, just want to make sure I am not missing something.
Updates are (at this time) only available for Matter devices.
Zigbee / Z-wave are expected, but not operation yet.

The technical support for OTA updates for Matter, Zigbee, and Z-Wave is already available.
The reason OTA updates donât automatically show up for every Zigbee and Z-Wave device with a potentially available firmware update is that the corresponding app first needs to be updated to include the firmware files. For example, the IKEA app will need an update before firmware updates for older IKEA Zigbee devices become available. Thatâs exactly what weâre currently working on.
Matter works a bit differently, as it uses a central firmware database, so app developers donât need to bundle firmware files themselves.
Weâll hold off on making a broader announcement until developers have had some time to update their apps. Taking the summer holiday period into account, I expect weâll announce it sometime in August.
Recommendation: get a ThirdReality Smart Hub Gen2+ and add them via my ThirdReality Hub app:
You can update them as usual in the Third Reality mobile app, the official method which works very reliably. If your devices are not yet supported by my app, you can request support in the forum topic. Any ThirdReality device can be added.
Hi Sven, completely off-topic: I see you often recommend users to use brand specific hubs in addition to Homey. I assume/think I read in one of your other posts you have multiple hubs yourself. How do you manage to keep all the Zigbee-networks of those hubs separate/minimize interference?

My Third Reality zigbee devices updated several weeks ago. Still waiting on Ikea, Kwikset and others.
Yes, for Zigbee (based on the change logs) e.g. INNR, EcoDim and SONOFF (official app).

All my Sonoff temp sensors (Zigbee) got FW-update today!
It wasnât fast but whan started it didnât fail once (5 sensors, 3 x SNZB-02D + 2 x SNZB-01P).
IKEA Matter devices updated earlier as well successfully.
The Namron app got OTA support in the last update.
The test version of the IKEA app now supports firmware updates for zigbee devices.
Do i need to enable experimental updates to get ota updates for Zigbee and Z-wave devices? I see the update tab in app konfiguration, but no updates are available.
In that case, there simply arenât any devices with updates available. Or the apps of the devices you are using havenât yet been updated to support the OTA feature. Which devices are you trying to update?
I have Aqara, Fibaro, Namron, shelly, Qubino, Nous, etc.. so i assume that it should be some updates available.
