For now, only Namron from that list supports OTA updates. Aqara unfortunately isn’t open to sharing their firmware files, so I wouldn’t expect support there anytime soon. For Fibaro and Shelly, this functionality is currently being integrated.
Updated plenty of Ikea devices this evening. It works like a charm, so thank you for this 
One minor thing. I think the new Ikea app detected most of my devices in need of an update except “TRÅDFRI up/down remote control”. Would be great to get them updated too.
Updated several IKEA devices easy this morning.
Older on/off device like “Trådfri” seems not to get updeted, and the buttoms (also Trådfri) have issues and one of the Trådfri drivers. All of them says the same:
“You have to wake up the device to start the update…” even do the device are working properly and are awake.
Enddevices must be clicked before update, because they are not listening to the Zigbee network. So you have to do one at a time, not using the waitinglist.
By the way, my Symphonic buttons are now missing button 1 and button 2 after the update. I restarted Homey, but still. Very annoying. IKEA’s fault, not Homey.

Aqara also seems to not be sharing Matter firmware files with the CSA at the moment, which I’ve reported to them directly
I’m really starting to dislike their practices as a company now and will be actively looking to limit buying any of their products in the future.
They’re probably not going to do anything about it though. Brands aren’t required to share their firmware files, just because Homey supports OTA update from a file doesn’t mean the brands also have to provide those files. They can choose to only provide them in their own gateway/ecosystem, and that’s totally fine since it has been the default since basically forever.
I do wish more brands had a Bluetooth+Zigbee dual mode setup where you can connect the device to any Zigbee gateway and then update the firmware separately via Bluetooth. Eglo Connect.Z for example supports this, you can connect the light to any Zigbee gateway (even those that don’t support Zigbee OTA like Homey Pro 2019 or Hue) and then also use the mobile app with Bluetooth to update the firmware. And even when your Zigbee gateway is offline, you can still use the mobile app to control the lights directly via Bluetooth.

No but they can also just provide their firmware files, in the end it benefits their end consumers

If I understand the Matter specification correctly (I might be mistaken 
), brands do need to offer a way for end users to update their devices based on a central repository of firmware updates. The CSA offers such a central repository. But using theirs is optional; brands can also use their own solution.
Yes, it would also be strange if CSA would force that, especially given not all devices support OTA in the first place (that are just provided as-is without any update feature)
I am having the same problems with older IKEA devices. I have tried several times and the update always fails. I will keep trying. Maybe they have to be updated in stages? Sometimes one cannot update to certain versions without going through other versions.
Some examples I get are:
Device driver restarted while updating.
Firmware update with version 2.0b1 / 9.6b35 not found. (also for 0.0b1 / 0.0.b16, 2.0b2 / 2.6b35)
Update aborted by device.
I see that Aeotec Multisensor 7 is used in examples in Athom’s online documentation for OTA. Did anyone get firmware updates offered for the Multisensor 7 yet? Thus far none here and on latest Aeotec app 3.19.1.

Unfortunately, as it stands now, the long awaited ability to update old zigbee IKEA-devices seems completely broken. Has anyone managed to update one?
Yes, I had two battery powered devices (push buttons) that got their firmware updated. This was with the IKEA app - experimental version (2.10.2) released about a week ago
How did you get them up stay “awake”?
I pressed the pair button and then let it go. During the day / night the job got done.
I found that forcing it to NOW wasn’t what the device wanted.
