has anyone been able to integrate the Zemismart matter over thread device MTP1 ? It is a battery powered blind roller. I was think abouty buying one and a homey pro mini.

Zemismart is a Tuya whitelabel. Tuya is known for often not playing by the rules; As they do with zigbee, but they do it with Matter as well…
So it’s good to ask for ‘live’ experiences here.
In other words, the risk of any capability not functioning is bigger / the chance on the need for an app to support it, is bigger.
An example of a Tuya Matter plug which doesn’t report power measuring:
You can always request for them to be added or certified via their official Homey app. Their products do indeed use Tuya based chips but I believe the rollormotors all use the standard clusters. The app is developed and maintained by Zemismart, and requests can be submitted directly on their Homey App Store page.

Thanks for the replies. I’m just starting out with smart home. I thought tuya was a platform like zigbee, but as long as they support matter then interop would be expected. Guess I have a bit to learn
No, Tuya is not a communication protocol like ZigBee. In this post I explain what Tuya is/does:
