I have a Yale dooreman and it has the “alarm_contact” capability, but it doesn’t activate the zone. I have checked the “Exclude from Zone Activity” setting, and it is set to No. I have acouple of IKEA Parasoll with the same capability, and they are able to activate the zone. I’m currently using the -app to make a virtual doorsensor that exposes alarm_contact from my yale doorman. Anyone know if this is expected behaviour?

The device class shouldn’t matter, only the blue dot won’t appear on the device tile of a lock.
I tested with virtual lock with a alarm_contact capability.
It activates the zone anyway:
I think you’d contact Athom support when your alarm_contact refuses to activate a zone.
Looks like one of the latest updates to homey has added door locks to zone activity. Yale Doorman. However if you only have a Doorman in the zone, the activity button is not added to the zone. Really strange.
