Would the Aqara M200 be an alternative to the Homey Bridge?

Amazon showed me the Aqara M200 while I was searching for Homey products. The M200 hub supports quite a view protocols, among which (Aqara?) Zigbee and Thread Border Router. I’m very new to the home automation scene so to me it sounds like this could be an interesting combination, since the Homey Bridge does not function as a TBO. (You would loose on Z-Wave and 433 Mhz.)

However I’m a bit sceptical about the description explicitly stating “Aqara Zigbee devices”. What does that mean for other zigbee devices and potential integration with Homey, compared to the Homey Bridge?

Yes, only Aqara Zigbee devices. Also, Aqara uses a paid API for their hubs and they don’t support Homey integration natively, so you’d need IFTTT or similar to integrate it into Homey.
