At the moment I got 21 devices visible in Tuya. When cconnecting to Tuya cloud in Homey I miss 11 devices. From sensors to smart switches.
What could be a reason? When Homey will not recognize these devices I am not really happy with it …
I want to connect all my devices at home no one app.
Thx in advance
Check the special Tuya Cloud app topic.
Not all devices are supported directly ‘as device’, but still can be controlled by using tap-to-run scenes & Raw commands, and/or they can control Homey by using Raw commands.
Also use the app topic for further questions.
Links to these special app topics can be found at the bottom of homey.app store app pages.
I bought a Homey Pro hoping it would work in my house. Most of my switches are from Zemismart and although Zemismart has released an app, my devices are not compatible. I am hoping that the Tuya Zigbee app will also be updated but I still do not have support for most of my devices. Although Homey claims to have 50,000 compatible devices, I have had no luck.
Hi,
You’ll need to install the Tuya Zigbee test app. Look at it as pre-release app. It supports loads of new devices.
At the app store page, tap on “Changelog”.
Next, tap on the orange button called “Test”.
Next, install the app.
Next, the Zemismart app is pretty recent, just contact the app developer to report your findings.
Contact info → see homey.app store app page
One advice: stay away from Tuya (rebrands, like Zemismart);
Why?
Flakiness with zigbee: Exactly the same supported model can run different firmwares, resulting in one working device, and one device not getting recognised by Homey.
.
Yeah, the brilliant sales part of that: they didn’t publish a listing of those
You’ll have to search the app store for supported devices.
Note: when a brand appears @ app store, it doesn’t mean all of their devices are supported automatically.
One recent improvement though: certified Matter devices, following Matter specs, don’t need apps to function.

I have already interviewed my devices and sent them to Tuya Zigbee github as issue, but even in the test version I do not have support for some of my switches, usually 1, 2, 3and 6 gang switches.
I contacted Zemismart via email/whatsapp, they said they would add the devices - “yes, we are updating step by step”, but there is no forecast if my devices will be included in the next release.
I have some devices that appear to be private label, they have the same appearance and functionality, but the Model_ID changes and they were distributed where I live (Brazil).
I started on the Tuya platform, going through HomeAssistant and currently using Hubitat, but I couldn’t use Homey, as only some of my devices were compatible.
I live in Brazil, where a standard switch size is used that few manufacturers manufacture. European and American devices do not fit in the installation boxes, and the socket standard is specific. I have a Moes (_TZE204_1v1dxkck) device dimmer in the European standard and also without support in Homey and I sent an email to the manufacturer asking if they would follow the path of Zemismart and launch an app, they were emphatic that I should not use it outside the Tuya platform.
