Water sensor for water tank level Eufy X10

I’m looking for a solution to monitor the water tank of Eufy X10 pro. Thought of water leak sensor in reverse – triggering an alert when the sensor is dry instead of wet. Has anyone had experience with this setup? Love to hear suggestions and any tips. Thanks!

If I understand right, you want to put a water sensor into the water tank of your cleaner.
I just chose the fist water sensor I found. it is an Aeotec with the cards:

So you can simply choose when card The water alarm turned off or the and-card "The water alarm is on* and either revert it or take the NO branch.

Thanks for your suggestion, Dirk. My main concern is the hardware since water leak sensors aren’t designed to be permanently immersed. Additionally, I’m not convinced about the accuracy of a leakage sensor. The sensor would have to stick to the side of the tank, and because it’s always damp inside, I’m unsure if it would reliably detect when the tank is low.

The aqara water leak sensor has 2 screws. You can connect a cable to it and lead that into the water tank.

I use it to detect the water level of my humidifier tank.

If you dont like the reverse status: creste a virtual device and have that show the reverse status of the water sensor

@FKey perfect, thank you!

Try to find a cable that does not oxidize, I started using a copper cable, that oxidized quick (although it kept working fine)
