Voice assistant for Homey

I’ve been wanting to get away from Alexa for awhile but after this last update I really want to get off. Is there any solution for homey? I am kinda at the point I want to get away from the big cloud based ecosystem. Or is it time to make the jump over to home assistant? I really only use Alexa for controlling devices and as an intercom throughout the house, we don’t really use it for anything else.
