Use a different temperature sensor for your thermostat

For example: I use the Plugwise Tom with a build in temp sensor. The functionality of this temp sensor is useless as it close to a cold wall.

In the same room I have a Netatmo Home Coach with an accurate measurement.

I want to use this temperature in the thermostat in Homey.

I have a similar configuration and I set the wall thermostat to +30°C and have flows that regulate the AC’s heater functions using an external temp sensor measures

Perhaps the VThermo App can work for you.

You can set a external temperature device as source.

More expensive solution is to add a Plugwise Lisa or Jip.

Unreliable vthermo. It hangs.

I had no experience with netatmo. In a thermostat, the sensitivity of the sensor is important.

from my experience:

  1. Shelly plus 1 PM + addon + Virtual devise (apps)
  2. Philips hue PIR ( with bridge) + VD

Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor works well. Usable. I made the curves with “Weather Forecast” apps.
