I’m looking for a USB-C cable to connect my Homey Pro 2023 to my Mac in order to make backups.
I’ve tested several USB-C cables, but only the one that came with the Homey box works — the others don’t power on the device.
To avoid buying multiple cables on Amazon and returning them, could those who have found a working cable please share a few links so I can make sure to buy the right one? There are thousands of options on Amazon…

So, why don’t you use the cable that came with your Homey 
? Or are you looking for an additional cable?
Yes, I’m looking for a new cable because mine has been damaged.
It still works, but I’d like to be prepared before it stops working completely.
Is there a specific standard it needs to meet in order to work properly?
Though I am not sure of the required specs, the cable should at least be able to provide power and data. I can also imagine that are thicker higher quality cable, that is rated for higher speeds and Watts, would be preferable. I don’t have experience personally with replacement cables, so these are just some thoughts.
Alternatively, you might want to contact Athom (via https://homey.app/support/) and ask them for the specs or maybe a replacement cable.
I bought yet another cable for nothing, this one doesn’t work either.
That makes it my seventh cable, and it’s starting to get expensive…
It’s unbelievable that only the original cable that came with the box works, and no other cable seems to be compatible.
I’ve reached out to support, but I’m afraid they’ll tell me that they don’t sell this cable on their website.
If my original cable stops working, I won’t have a functional box anymore.
Honestly, has anyone found a cable that actually works?
