Odd. The Pro mini shares it’s firmware with Pro 2023.
It’s important to use the same account, @MiniUser, otherwise it can’t detect your stored backups;
When you start the setup, and add the Pro mini to the Homey app, at some point the menu should mention it found a backup >
Choose “Restore a backup” and select your cloud backup.
@Jeroen_Tebbens Hi Jeroen, from what I’ve read it’s not about a Homey Cloud but it’s about a cloud backup of a Pro 2019.
This can be restored to a Pro 2023, and I don’t know why it wouldn’t be possible to restore it on a Pro mini, it runs on same firmware.
This doesn’t really make sense, as it is possible to migrate from the older HP’s to the HP2023 that way.
It sounds more like an oversight, or Athom thinking that since the older HP’s were never officially sold in North America there wouldn’t be anyone migrating from an HP2019 to a HP Pro Mini.
As for the antenna’s: HP2019 has a Zigbee chip that’s incompatible with the HP2023 Zigbee chip, yet they made that migration work.
Fair enough, but that was not when they released it. They made it working after a while.
I think it’s a last effort push back on having the mini enter the European market.
