Tuya Problem PIR / motion detector

Good morning everyone, I have a question about Tuya. I have already integrated wifi door contacts via the smartlife amm on my cell phone and on the tuya development platform and then integrated them into homey via the tuya app and it works great! I have now bought a motion detector that is also in the smarlife app and here in the tuya app. However, I cannot get it integrated into homey. does anyone know that? isn’t that possible? Alternatively, can you ask the question via the Tuya platform when the motion detector detects movement and sends a webhook? I would be grateful for help!

I use several motion detectors with Tuya and the official Tuya app Tuya App voor Homey | Homey there was a bug the last days, but now it’s working again. It’s easier to use the official (new) app of Tuya for using the motion sensors.

Are you using exactly this types which i have?

I installed the new tuya version. Here it just shows in the dashboard that the device is okay but has no value or something like that. then if I want to select a flow you have to enter a code as an example for a movement or person = pir but if I write PIR or pir in the field there is an error… how do I do that?

Is it not possible to set the device up as sensor? When adding a new device with Tuya go to Motion Sensor?

Otherwise you have go to the settings/einstellungen of the device, and look for device specification voor the JSON to use.

  1. go to the devices
  2. image Right click your device tile
  3. then select settings/einstellungen
  4. scroll down and take the data of this block
  5. Analyze the data on https://jsonlint.com/ (beautifies the JSON data) which object value you want to use with your flows.

But what I personally think you should do is the first step, maybe you have to delete the old device you’ve allready made with the Tuya logo

Who can help me here, the device says in the status that the motion detector has been on for 3 hours or has detected a movement. In the history, however, it has been off for a long time. The movement has long since disappeared. How can such an error happen?


@marccie : I need help again. I added a siren from Tuya / Smartlife. This can also be done directly via the siren selection. However, I want a flow. For example, if a device has tripped, an alarm should go off. that is not available to choose from. what did I do wrong when adding? how can I fix this?
