Great idea with the escape route…
My whole house is equipped with Hue Philips colored lamps of various kinds. Whenever there is a fire alarm (I have a Nest Protect in the Kitchen, Storage Room, Living Room, Hall downstairs, Hall upstairs, two bedrooms, and the garage (not in Bathroom, nor WC) I light up all the rooms and spaces where there is smoke with a red flashing light. All the others are lit with green lights. Wonderful effect and works like a charm
